Our site, #16 was easy to back in to, fairly level and very peaceful. The RV sites are a bit narrow but they all appear to have large outdoor areas with a fire pit and picnic table. My only issue is the treacherous point of entry/exit into this park. It is a blind corner and traffic from the busy highway makes this turn at speed, with little concern over the campground road. This made entering and especially leaving the campground very concerning and dangerous.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. The Staff were fantastic & very nice. The biggest downside to this park is that it's in a very steep canyon area. And very many of the spaces have parking that is extremely angled. If you're tenting, no biggy. If you have a short trailer that you can level a LOT, it's do-able. If you have an RV, truck camper, or long trailer many sites are un-useable. I changes sites because the one I originally had would have needed 11" of lift under my rear wheels. Which, with the continued downslope of the pavement, set my rear bumper at chest level. I couldn't even reach the door handle on my camper. So, do your research. Outside of that, it is a beautifully run park.

Dogwood is a beautiful and well-kept campground. We were in our RV and the only thing keeping my rating at 4 stars was the slopes of the parking pads. Getting the RV level was a big challenge.

We loved camping at Dogwood Family Campground. We stayed four nights at a site that was near level, long enough for our truck and 19 trailer, somewhat isolated, and the restrooms were very clean. We enjoyed a campfire each evening and they sell firewood for a good price. There are many campsites throughout their large campground. We camped in late April and found many of the campsites were empty, though we stayed Monday through Friday, so it was quiet and very peaceful. The park employees are helpful and friendly. We will definitely make this one of our regular places to visit.

We make Dogwood Campgrounds our go to. It is always the place we go to unwind and relax. It is always clean, has clean facilities and is quiet and a very friendly atmosphere. We use the fire pit and love the open area just to relax and enjoy nature. I recommend this campground and it is so easy to get to.

The sites here are so spread out -love it! The water spigots tend to be far from the road making it hard for hoses to reach. Electric was out in the whole area for 8 hours. Was told this happens all the time, so don’t count on your hookups. Dogwood is way better than the skypark campground in my opinion. Trees everywhere. Don’t forget your hammocks!

Much quiter than last year, thank you..still hate that we have to pay a dump fee while tenters use the bathroom for free or a nominal shower fee
