Very peaceful. The camp host, Joe, was very welcoming and helpful. Bring your own toilet paper, just in case. The bathroom gets a lot of use and ran out of paper on Saturday. There are no hook-ups.

Campsite was easy to find, clean, and very pretty. The camp host came by quickly and made sure were ok and offer to sell us firewood. Our trip would have been great, but the campsite next to us had music blasting so loud from the moment the woke up to the moment they went to bed, around 11:30pm.

Beautiful campground in town but as soon as you pull in you have the feel that you’re miles from civilization. Spacing between sites was generous and the restrooms were clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Imagine spring break in the woods; loud campers, dogs off leashes and NO enforcement of quiet hours. None! You can openly smoke pot and party well past midnight. If this is what youre looking for, change my rating to 5 stars. I wish I had a spot like this when I was 21. Unfortunately for me, I was unable to sleep because I was busy explaining to my kids why the loud man keeps dropping F-bombs every other word at 2am. My kids were also entertained by Pepper the chocolate lab who kept running into our camp. I love dogs but I did see and hear Pepper barking all day and night. This isnt the campsites fault but something to consider when selecting a dog friendly campsite. Peppers owners were very inconsiderate, and with the amount of free roam Pepper was given, Im sure he deposited a land mine or two around neighboring campsites. Bottom line, disregard the Covid / single family warning on the website. I saw groups of 15 plus people partying like they were at a burning man concert. If the sound of the motorcycles on the highway doesnt keep you up, a group of drunk mountain bikers will. I hate to give a low rating because of poor behavior of guests, but if the rules arent enforced, it makes it difficult to entertain the idea of going back or recommending Pineknot to others.
