Site and facilities were clean. The camp host was amazing and accommodating with our group. Definitely looking forward to staying again!

campground was well maintained and clean...Shane does an excellent job as camp host. although the campground was full, with lots of families, everyone was respectful of quiet hours. close to amenities, yet felt fairly secluded. we spent our mornings and evenings relaxing at the campsite, and our days hiking all the beautiful trails nearby. with all the beautiful trees surrounding the campground, it made our late autumn tent camping trip even better - tons of leaf peeping ( :

The site is very well kept and the site host is very friendly. We have been two times now and had a very nice time.

Great location! Clean restrooms. Camp site equipped. I thought sites were more independent from others, but they are just steps away. Great experience overall.

PEOPLE WERE BREAKING INTO CARS AT NIGHT WHILE THE CAMPGROUND WAS ASLEEP!

We stayed at pineknot the first weekend it opened for the season. At 2am we heard our car door beep open. My fiance got up to look and saw two people by our car. One was looking directly at our tent (as a lookout) and the other was trying to open our car door. My fiance quickly locked the door with his keys but the person beeped it back open! They must of had some kind of fob to open car doors. We set off the car alarm to scare them off but they left for a moment and came back. We called 911 from our tent and the cops drove around the entire campground with search lights. We knocked on the camp host's door but he wasn't there.

The campground was fully booked and all afternoon and early evening we noticed car alarms were going off. I'm unsure if the theives were campers or not but when we purposely set off our car alarm, to scare away the theives, I bet most people probably chalked it up to another accidental car alarm.

Be careful. They were very quiet and were able to unlock our car door. I don't know if people are getting more desperate with the pandemic but these people were bold considering we were sleeping 50ft away in our tent in a fully booked campsite. If they were successful in breaking into cars and stealing, on the first weekend of the camping season, I have no doubt they will do it again.
