Beautiful campground and convenient location. Site 30 was big enough for 3 tents and trees for our hammocks. The camp host was so nice and attentive.

Beautiful campsite. Good facilities. Camp was full but didn't feel too crowded.

Loved this site. Super close to town and easy to get around. Site 30 was nice and flat. Was in the sun for about 2 hours around noon, but overall nice and shady. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Ranger Joe was super nice and helpful! If we went back again I think we would choose site 31, it felt a little bigger and had more shade but site 30 was perfect for my little family of 3.

Beautiful campground, perfect weather during heat wave in valley below AND the friendliest campground host (Sean) Ive ever met. Kept grandkids entertained (and me too) with his magic tricks and balloon figures. Definitely will return

Its right next to Snow Summit and not far from the alpine slide so this is a great place for families with small children. The spaces are large and has lots of shade throughout the day. The downside to this is that the trees greatly obscure the night sky. This is not the best place to go if you are interested in star gazing. The lake is nearby but if you have paddle boards or a kayak, youre probably best just renting from a shop anyway. Youll need to get your water toys approved so as to protect the ecosystem. Fire wood is available, if you reserved the site, a ranger will come to you and he was very kind to bring wood (after Ive paid) with his truck from the camp host. The bathrooms are kept very clean but theres only one stall and one sink in each. I do appreciate that the stall is separate from the sink and the main doors never close. This keeps people from using up the restroom to wash their face or brush their teeth for an hour while the rest of us are dying to use the restroom.
