The park staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. I recommend this campground to friends!

Within walking distance to Snow Summit and the bathroom was very clean. You have to walk down a little slope from the car to the camp area but it's fine, but not doable for wheelchairs.

I wish this campground had a bit more privacy. However, the bathrooms were relatively clean with running water. Plenty of places to get water for dishes and whatnot. Everyone seemed to abide by the quiet time. The campground itself is nearby hiking spots. We went to Castle Peak which was pretty tough! Walked upwards for about a mile until my teens grumbled too much and we turned around. But the kids had fun going on nature walks up near the ski area. Lots of bugs and birds to look at. When we stayed in mid/late May it was still COLD at night. During the day though, we were in shorts and t-shirts.

The hosts do a great job of keeping the area clean. You feel like your in a forest but really, your in the heart of the town of Big Bear right at the base of Snow Summit.

Quaint camp ground just off the main road. Enough of an escape. Shawn was the host during Halloween weekend, that dude is rad. Super warm guy and keeps the ground looking perfectly woodsy.

BEAUTIFUL large campground within walking distance of the village and moonridge. Nice spacious sites with picnic tables, barbeques, and campfire rings. Looking forward to going again.

I'm not sure if it was just the site I was in, but this campground has the oddest layout of sites. It took me a while to figure out which table was ours, etc. Also the fact that it was on a hill, meaning climbing up and down from vehicle to picnic table numerous times per day. That said, it was warmer at night than across the lake at Serrano.
