I have 2 complaints. First, the access road to the camp was extremely difficult to find because of some construction that was going on, probably associated with the adjacent ski area. There was only a small cardboard temporary sign attached to a street sign post to mark the way to the campground, and it was easily overlooked - which I did on my first attempt to find the campground. I had camped there before a few years ago and so knew about where the camp was, but I still had trouble finding it. The second issue was the restroom closest to me campsite - the men's restroom was closed for the repair the whole 2 days I was camping, so I had to walk to the next closest restroom which was not all that close. Other than that, my campsite was fine and I found the campground quiet and conducive to relaxation, which is why I was there.

Pineknot is a good spot to semi-escape into the woods. Its facilities include everything except showers: flush toilets, sink, potable water, and firewood for sale ($10). Camp hosts are nice and clean/ restock the restrooms regularly. Campground is very close to the city (5min drive), situated right next to Snow Summit. You will hear cars and construction vehicles on the road at all times of day and some slight sound/ light pollution from passing mtn bikers and the recreational facility nearby. Campsite #19 is one of the prime spots at Pineknot - huge campsite with tons of space and is also secluded, very private, and near the restrooms and garbage. However, there is a small (20ish ft) hill from the car to the site youll need to traverse each time while unpacking/packing or heading up to the restrooms. There is also a number of trip hazards like roots and rocks jutting out of the ground. This site is near Bristlecone Dr and bike paths so you may notice more vehicle/ bike activity. Overall good experience

Campsite that we had was great. Secluded away from other, lots of space. Location of the campground is also a plus, close to Snow Summit (for hiking or mountain biking), close to the Village, close to the lake, close to the grocery store, etc. Gotta go to Dank Donuts, if you get a chance. Finding the campground might be a little trick for someone that has never been (go towards Snow Summit employee parking). What would make this campground even more awesome would be the addition of showers.

Beautiful campground! We did have coyotes in our campsite so be careful if traveling with dogs. Clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts.

This is for campsite #019 - Our family of 4 had a great time. The campsite was large and secluded which gave a ton of privacy. The bathroom was close.
It would be great if Pineknot would add showers at the campground. We went in mid-June, so there was pollen everywhere, it dusted everything, including our tent.

Coyotes (you hear them at night!) and No bears in October it was too cold for them. There is bike trail and tons of hikes near the campsite.

This is our second time staying here. On our first trip, we stayed in spot #45. Great spot up on a little hill and is considered one of the best at Pineknot due to the privacy. However, this time around, we decided to stay in spot #19. We loved it and in our opinion, is even better than #45. This is our #1 spot now. Super private and is down a little hill. The tent location is a little past the campfire and eating area, which was nice. Plus being next to the restrooms was a big plus. Lots of trees and nature and you don't hear any neighbors. On the downside, I am shocked the restrooms do not have seat covers. Really??? I sucks having to lay out toilet paper on the seats just to sit. Come on guys, get some toilet seat covers. Additionally, the water pressure for the sink in the womens restroom was very low. The mens room had plenty of pressure. Might want to look into that. Other than that, we love this place. Looking forward to camping here again next year.

The campground itself was great. Well kept, and the bathrooms (flush toilets) were very clean. The camp host, Sean, was very friendly. I didnt hear any music playing from within the actual regular campground, which is a huge plus, because I absolutely hate when other campers play their music and ruin other peoples quiet camping experiences. However, there is either a group spot or another private camp site nearby, and they BLASTED music most of the day and well into the night, and no one stopped them. And I truly mean BLASTED. It was insanely loud. I could hear it through my ear plugs. It completely ruined our experience, and we left early. I couldnt find the camp host on our way out to ask if thats a frequent issue. Im not sure if well return here. Some of the sites are great, but would not be worth it with that music.
We traveled 5 weeks and Pineknot is in the top 3 campgrounds we experienced. Camp Hosts Shawn and Charlotte were friendly and professional. Lots of mountain biking trails begin right outside the camp. Great singletracks with amazing views (there is some elevation gain required to get the best views). We are coming back next year for a much longer stay.

I have been coming to this campsite since I was a little girl. The bathrooms were not kept very clean. Also the grill was not clean. The guy was really nice though. Just needs to keep bathrooms cleaner mainly.

We had a wonderful experience here! We lucked out and swooped in on a cancellation to get one of the more secluded spots. The staff was lovely and everything is well maintained.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
