This campsite is very nice. The hosts are wonderful and very friendly. You are just 30 minutes from the town of Big Bear where you can explore restaurants and shop. You are about 1.5 miles from Jenks Lake where you can fish or just picnic at the lake. You can drive about 3 miles down towards the spring of running water and enjoy the running water. There are several hikes near that you can enjoy.

I've been going to San Gorgonio and Barton Flats campgrounds since I was 2 years old (that's 71 years). They are centrally located between the Santa Ana River and Jenks lake. Firewood gathering is allowed as long as you do not use power tools (i.e. chain saw). Flush toilets are always clean and hot showers are also available. A small store is just a couple of miles back towards Redlands for those things you may have forgotten. Hiking trails are abundant and one actually skirts the campground so access is easy! Lots of room between campsites (like ~20 yards).
