Site 16. The camp hosts were efficient and communicated clearly the camp rules. The site was clean as were the rest rooms. There are short hike trails within the campground which were enjoyable. The weather was above average, not windy or too hot. We had an excellent camping experience.

Our family has been going camping in late June for the past 15 years. We usually get 2 or 3 sites for family and friends who also come with us. We typically camp at Heartbar campground as we love the location, the views, and family friendliness of the site, but were really disappointed about it's closure again this year due to the roads and sites being washed out. So this year we stayed at San Gorgonio and wow we were impressed! We rented 4 sites (2 doubles and 2 singles). We had an amazing time. I'll give the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Super family friendly2. Our campers loved the showers (hot water and super clean). We dry camp so this was a huge plus.3. Dads enjoyed the flushable toilets. :) 4. Wonderful hiking trails...we took several hikes and saw some amazing scenery.5. SHADE, SHADE, SHADE! We really loved this part. It was even better than Heartbar and good thing because it was in the 90s.6. Plenty of space to play corn hole, horseshoes, etc.7. Camp hosts were wonderful and fun to talk toCons1. A bit closer to the street (38) so you do hear car noise, but it's not too bothersome2. Smaller - so for my teenage kids they didn't do much riding of their bikes like they have in the pastSo the Pros definitely outweigh the cons and would highly recommend this site. We will be back next year for sure!

Excellent camp ground hosts. Campground has water to fill trailer tanks and the next campground down the road has a black/gray water dump for a $10 fee. Very easy for my first time parking a trailer.

Great campground. Great for families. Beat during the week. As with all good places it can get busy on the weekends but over all great hosts and great campgrounds

First time camping at San Gorgonio Campground, better clean sites, spaced out accordingly. Camp Host was friendly and informative. Definitely going back. Looking forward to exploring the area more.

Had a great time, site was big and shady and clean. Could have used a third bear box for a double site. Camp host was very friendly.

Great campground. Large campsite, lots of space between campsites, and plenty of tree shade if you want that. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I did visit the other campground close by and this one was the overall best. I will be back to this campground. Really enjoyed the surroundings it had to offer. Thank you.

Group Site # 048 was perfect. Plenty of shades and room for tents. Neighboring campsite was at a good distance. Great reception for phone use. We went in mid-July, it was really hot but the trees shade the Group Site really well where it was nice and cool throughout the day. Also, giant plus was that the bathroom and shower was super clean for a campground. It didnt smell and we didnt feel grossed out. Campground host was a sweetheart. They were so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I would camp at San Gorgonio again in the future.

Nice sites, great showers/restrooms, nice hosts, lots of double sites, and great access to trails. Close to 38 so you can hear and possibly see traffic. Quiet at night. Will defiantly return. Thank you for a great experience.

Layout of this site is odd. Site is slightly slanted on a hill and the bonfire pit is placed in an odd spot. Other sites around looked fine except this one

The campsite we reserved was too rocky and there's not enough shade. There's no dedicated parking space only an unlevelled private road. Located near main campground road so lots of noise from passing vehicles.

Great campground.

Great campsite, beautiful forest, easy access to a nice trail. Only downside: It was a shame that the water supply was out, and that notification didn't go out about it until shortly before the reservation, but they had Port-A-Pots onsite and it was fine.
@BryanH7627410 · Camped on Jun 18, 2024 at Campsite #29
All water was out when we arrived and it stayed the way the entire time (2 day booking). Eventually stinky portapotty for bathrooms were brought in which quickly became full; but no way to get drinking water unless by car to another park. No way to take a shower. Requested a refund and never have had a response.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
