Great location. Camp Host was friendly and kept the campground respectfully quiet and clean.

Love this campground! So clean and friendly. Third time visiting never disappoints.

The campground hostess was really nice and working hard to keep the area well stocked and clean.

Loved this campground. I stayed at campsite 14, there was a trail right behind our campground that once you went around the other side of the ridge had some stunning views of a valley behind us. It is also within a mile or two hike of Jenks Lake which was a perfect day trip. I will definitely be back to Barton Flats.

Great hosts and beautiful scenery. Loved the quiet atmosphere despite the camping ground being almost full.

Very nice campground. Large and flat sites. Only problem for me is I like a long hike from the campsite. There is a trail but not long enough. But good overnight stop.

Overall a nice space, shaded. Relatively close to General Sherman Tree and Hume Lake, about 30 minutes to each. Bathrooms are vault but cleaned regularly. Unfortunately we were right by a creek which became still water in the summer, so there was a lot of mosquitos to deal with. I think the creek runs during spring and fall, but probably not during the hot summer. Do with that as you wish.

The campground itself is beautiful and clean. The only issue was the disrespectful Karen campground host. She couldn’t be bothered to stop and speak to the brown minority guests in a respectful manner. She screamed her inaudible instructions at us. If you’re white, then you’ll have no problem here. If you’re brown, be prepared to be yelled at from a distance like an animal instead of being respectfully talked to. I don’t know why the state would tolerate such discrimination in their park system. It’s obvious this Karen host doesn’t care for minorities to camp here.
