Campsite we selected this time was Awesome.Water nearby, toilets clean with plenty of Toilet paper.Working showers with Hot Water was a plus.It is absolutely worth mentioning the friendly staff, The first 4 days Erin was very helpful and was coming around to ensure we were comfortable and asked if we needed anything. The last 2 days Simon and his lovely wife were also very nice.

Beautiful location with a great camp host. Only down side is the struggle to get a shower as they did not have all of them open

Camping without open fire (ring) is not worth it.

I try to camp here multiple times during the summer season, with family and friends. The camp hosts are fantastic and really keep the campground looking great. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do and how they make the grounds look. There are hikes nearby, Jenks Lake is a fun outing, or just chill at the campsite for the day. Whatever you choose to do, you'll have a great time doing it at Barton Flats.

The camp hosts here take great pride in this campground!! Theres only the 2 of them and they run quite a tight ship! They make sure the bathrooms are as clean as they can be, as long as campers are considerate and dont behave like animals. All of the sites are clean, spacious and ready to go when you check in. The brush along the road and walkways are kept clear to prevent snakes and other critters, not that Ive ever seen any. The Potable water sources are plentiful and work well. My only critique is that the trash dumpsters are not very conveniently located Around the campground and unless you have a site nearby one, youre hoofing it to throw out your trash. Sprint and Verizon cell coverage was great there but I tried not to use my phone...cmon, youre in nature! I love this campground and cant wait to go back.

We were very happy with our first visit to Barton Flats. It's dry camping and we don't usually do this but thought we would take a chance. We have a class C so we were self-contained. The park was very clean and quiet even though it was full with families. We will definitely go again.
