First Time Camping in Oregon Absolutely the Best!I've been to many campsites throughout California, but this was my first time camping in Oregon and it was by far the best experience yet. Each campsite is generously spaced out, about 2 to 4 times larger than those I've seen in Cal, offering incredible privacy. The area is surrounded by dense, towering pines and lush plants, creating a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. The nearby river adds a gentle white noise, noticeable but never loud.The only downside was the compost toilet with much stronger smell I've visited, but there's a flushing one available at the entrance.

We were in site 96, beautiful campsite with sun and shade and right across from Union Creek. We could hear the creek from our site. A little far to the bathroom but beautiful spot.

The campground is great and every camp site is far away from others. Bring your own water because there is no access to water in the campground. You can buy some at the small store outside the campground if needed.
