Our campsite was dirty when we arrived, there was trash at the site and in the fire ring. Several trees had been cut down so there is not as much shade as there was in the past. And access to the river is now limited. I wont be coming back.

Great spot would be better if they had a dump station

Farewell Bend is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have visited. The camp hosts keep the park sparkling clean. Fishing was awesome with several nice spots to fish and hang out. We will be back soon!

In our 5 days at Farewell Bend, we went to Crater Lake, Mill Creek Falls, National Creek Falls, Diamond Lake and Lemolo Lake. We arrived on Monday and it was 78 degrees and I’m Wednesday and Thursday it was snowing, but that didn’t slow us down much. We try to get there every year, but the last 3 years our reservations for middle of September, have been canceled or we did due to fires. This year we went in May, we love the place and the hosts are always very nice.
