This specific site is really private within trees. Amenities are nice within the overall campground, but most sites have little privacy. Lack of noise from the river or road makes sound carry easily.

I was glad to have a place to stay for the night, but it was not a comfortable stay. My site was one of three parking spaces the size of spaces at a regular parking lot. The vehicle next to me was an RV that had to maneuver quite a bit to get into the space without hitting my car. There wasn't much room for either of us to open doors and get in and out. No privacy .Also, there was no "comfort station"/bathroom in the loop that I was in.

Great spot on the western side of the park, especially if you're into the Elk Rut and everything that comes with it, which includes their singing throughout the night haha. The bathrooms here were some of the worst among National Park campgrounds we've stayed in and there isn't any hot water available, if that's important to you. We stayed at campsite 86 and although we loved the fact it felt pretty spacious, there were some bug issues to note. In the morning, the flies really come out if you're cooking breakfast once the sun hits your site. On the flip side, if you come back before sunset, those white little flies invade your campsite until the sun fades down for the night. If you're like we were, where you pretty much stay out in the park from sun up to sun down, that won't matter a ton, but if you're someone that likes to enjoy your campsite during the day it may be a bit of a drag when enjoying the scenery. Perhaps this is something that happens in the first week of October, and I should note that site 86 looks out to a little pond of standing water about 150 feet away, so our thought was maybe that made it a bigger issue than we thought it should've. Only other notable thing is it's about a 90-minute to the Glacier Gorge area in the east part of the park. Grand Lake, the town 10 miles south of this campsite, seems like a place you should really explore if you're staying multiple days. That lake is enormous and the surrounding town has everything you'd want from shops to coffee to restaurants, etc.Last note. Buy the firewood from the campsite. It burned so much better than the bundle we got in Grand Lake.

Campsites are very close together. Small pine trees separate campsites so there is privacy but that doesn't help if someone shows up in the next campsite with a loud generator. Also it is a long walk from sites in loop D to the bathroom. Otherwise the campground is beautiful.

Great spot to hear the elk bugling. An elk grazed neaby during dinner. The fall yellow shimering aspen were in peak color by the campground. Got down to 31 degrees F over night then 60s by 10 am. The water supply spigots were abundant with shared bear boxes. Really nice camping experience.

Your pass with time to access your park and the bear lake!!! Bad idea!! We are from Canada and were very upset not beeing able to have the chance to book. No internet at this campground, far from everything with a openning at 7:00 pm for reservation trying to explain our situation to your rangers police guy not friendly at all at the bear lake pass he told us to go back in Canada yeah!!! Thank you USA for having spend more than 10 000$$ in your country during 5 weekssuggestion: when people pay to stay in your campground you should keep a place for them in your computers

Nice campground. Timber creek runs along the perimeter of the campground. Trails flow the creek as well, but dont appear on the park map. Elk and moose in the area. Great stargazing at night.

There were public restrooms, however there were only 3 in a campground of approx. 100 campsites. Parking at our site was Wal-Mart -style, with no extra parking room on either side of the vehicle. The site itself was fine, but expensive for what you got.

This campground is in a great location. Good proximity to all the attractions on the west side of the park. During our stay it was quiet, and the campsites were clean and tidy. As mentioned on their website, they lost all their trees a few years ago and they haven't grown back yet. There are plenty of small trees to provide privacy, but not tall enough to provide shade. The bathrooms in our loop were very old and in poor condition.

Beautiful views and abundant wildlife, close to good trails. Flush bathrooms are pretty dated and could use an upgrade, but were kept pretty clean. It was nice to have a place to wash up. Tent pad was elevated and clear, but rest of site was a bit uneven.

Anything available in RMNP is awesome if you can stay in the park. This camper is only for smaller rigs and sites are close together. We enjoyed the proximity to everything

Camp sites are small and very close together. The site we had reserved claimed to accommodate 6 people but there's no way that would have worked. Camp host worked with us to find another site so we could enjoy our time there. Bear boxes are shared with multiple sites. Flush toilets and air dryers are nice.

Excellent camp ground on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. Be aware its about 90 minutes when Route 34 is open and 3-4 hours if it's closed. There is a phone number to check it's status.

Wonderful campground. The trees have grown back nicely after the beetle infestation. Short walk to the Colorado River. No cell service. I had elk in my campsite every morning.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
