The Moraine Park Campground was a fantastic site! Coming in late September, there was always something going with the wildlife either in the Moraine Park area or the campsite! Water and facilities were a quick walk away. The bear boxes that were available at my campsite were clean and sturdy. If you are looking for some camping in Rocky Mountain, you can't get much better!

Beautiful park, you can see some deers very close to you, you have all the amenities you need for cook, or get water, they sell some firewood, also they have a transportation to the bear lake corridor where you can do the most popular routes of hiking

Nice campsite (I had a walk to one bout a 20 yard walk, but made it more private), but toilets are vault toilets and had insane flies (on the one i went to). Overall good camping and nice people!

We camp here twice a year. Spring and the Fall are best for us. We only live about 4 hours away, so we must return more often!

We stay in Moraine Park at least once a year and always enjoy it. We find that it is helpful to look over the campsite pictures and information. That way we have a better chance of getting an appealing campsite. It's nice to be within a reasonable walking distance from the amphitheater and to get information on the scheduled evening presentations.
