This spot is relatively private compared to most sites in this campground. It requires some hikes up a hill. The view of Longs is great. Downside is that this loop doesn't have flush toilets and a comfort station. Had to walk a long way to have dishes washed

We always enjoy our stays in RMNP and were excited to check out the reopened Moraine campground. It was overall quite pleasant and always exciting hearing the Elk bugling this time of year, and we had several deer come through our site. D loop was mostly tent campers and fairly quiet even with some close together sites. This site was a good size, but the parking spot is up a bit of a rocky hill from the site itself. Restrooms and water are also uphill, not super close but nice not to have the foot traffic and noise/lights. We got some nice afternoon shade.A short walk back from the site is a hill that drops down to Fern Lake road and looks down into the valley for some nice views. We took the short trail down from nearby in C loop to the shuttle stop there which was convenient.

the additional of electric hook-ups made it amazingly quiet for tent campers like me. Thank you

This was my first visit to Moraine Park Campground since the two year closure for improvements. I was amazed at how much worse the facilities were. The bathrooms in A Loop next to campsite 89 were falling apart. Both the Women's and Men's restrooms were locked for our entire stay and the entire area could only use the single Family bathroom. The toilet was a cheap consumer product and the plastic seat was already falling off the toilet. The sink was wiggling and falling apart as well. The attendant at the booth was rude to us for no reason (probably overworked) as well. This is one of my favorite campgrounds in the world I stay here every year, I know funds are tight, but hoping these things get fixed.

Site A137 was great. Easy access from entrance in the park, very close to restrooms and solar shower stalls. Gorgeous view of the park right from our site. Would recommend to others! Only one direct neighbor.

Lovely, clean campsite with early morning mule deer. Toilets were clean enough and price was right.

Great place to camp! Even though it doesn't seem like it at first because most sites are closest to a pit toilet, there are nice bathrooms with flush toilets in a few spots if you're willing to go for a longer walk!

I really enjoy the electrical hookups, it made the campground much more peaceful without running generators which in turn allowed us to hear the Elk bugle. Access to some sites are still difficult with larger RV or Trailers but better than before.

The campsite is well maintained with beautiful views of the mountains and fields. The comfort station is nearby and kept clean. The only "problem" was we camped during elk rutting season. Their bugling lasted all night, every night. Would definitely come back here again.

A wonderful campground inside Rocky Mountain National Park with stunning mountain views all around.Campfires were allowed, which made the evenings even more enjoyable.Overall, the place is beautiful and peaceful, with spacious campsitesespecially those closer to the forest area.I could see deer passing by my campsite almost every day, which made the experience even more special.The restrooms were spotless and sparkling clean.Its less than a 10-minute drive to Estes Park, and you can reach many hiking trails and attractions within 30 minutes at most.

This campground in Rocky Mountain National Park offers breathtaking mountain scenery in every direction.Having campfires available made the evenings warm and cozy.The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with large campsitesespecially those located near the forest edge.Deer wandered by my site almost daily, adding a magical touch to the experience.The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained.Estes Park is less than 10 minutes away, and countless trails and attractions can be reached within half an hour.

A great spot! Across the street from a large meadow where we saw several herds of elk and mule deer. A130 + A 131 share a driveway so good for those camping together. Flushing toilets and potable water nearby. Not super private as other sites are within eyesight but thats expected. We had a lovely time! Note to those with roof tops tents - the parking space is slanted but nothing a few rocks cant help with to level out.

The campground is really cool with lots of boulders and interesting sites, but the campsites are way too close together. It felt like our neighbors were on top of us. Loud diesel engines at 6:00am weren't nice to wake up to either. It seemed every bathroom was under construction too. Any time we had to use the *single* toilet bathroom, we'd wait in line, once probably 30 minutes. Overall cool place. Will we camp there again? No, probably not.

Parker Rangers and staff were top notch. Campsite was clean and comfortable. Beware camping near a bathroom: The lights stay on all night, and the hand blow-dryers are loud enough to wake you up.

incredible views make up for no shower

Excellent location close to Bear Lake Road and Interpretive Center. We saw a herd of elk at dinnertime from our campsite, and enjoyed the evening ranger talk. Restrooms were clean, but would have enjoyed a shower! Only a bring your own solar shower area is available.

The sites were roomy and well maintained. The views from site C197 were amazing. Bathrooms were clean, but need updating.

Great spot up on a slight incline/small walk from parking spot, can still view your vehicle from the pad. The pad is hard packed and groomed - everything at the sight was in great condition. Decent spacing between neighboring spots, on the hill you feel like you have the area to yourself, but do not hike down right behind this site to access the visible bathroom (if you can't see the path that's frequented between this site and the next to get there, especially in the dark, please just walk down the road). We wish we could have stayed longer! When in doubt, make sure you check out with the Ranger post as you leave, especially if you were a late arrival on your first night - though the late arrival check-in form is usually out, it wasn't available on the night we arrived so they didn't have us officially checked in, since we were leaving early in the morning to go hike, we didn't want to be marked as no-shows (doesn't hurt to double check! Plus the Rangers were awesome as always).

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
