Such an awesome experience during rut season!! We could hear the bugles all night. Unfortunately with the sites being so stacked on top of each other, we could also hear people snoring and talking way past curfew. Overall a great campground.

Amazing beauty all around. Great transportation systems to key park locations. The only drawback was the campsites were very close together.

We love this campground for its big sites and how quiet it is to really enjoy the sounds of nature
Everything very smoothly managed, no delays in getting our tag and driving into our spot. Beautiful setting, great overall experience.
With a record of frequent fire bans, I only wish that the status of fire bans related to this campsite was more clearly communicated on the Recreation.gov site.

There is only 1 "real" restroom with flushable toilet. There is no place to even wash your hand in the portable toilet.

Its a lovely campground set in the valley of the mountains inside the national park which is nice given the lines we saw on the days we exited the park. Note: popular trailheads fill up around 7 so get in early. Some of the sites are a little close but at night everyone was pretty quiet so it wasnt noticeable. One of our neighboring sites did not follow the rangers directions about bear safety and food storage - they had a bear steal food left out making a mess of their car and camp. If the rangers tell you to do something, then do it. They arent just saying it for fun. When we left we overheard the ranger say they had to capture the bear.... thanks to the people that did not follow the rules and directions of the rangers.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
