The campsite is close to the sites on either side and a decent walk from the bathroom, but nicely shaded and near the entrance for easy access.

Great campground. Spaces are tight and close together but we didn't spend that much time at our site and our neighbors were pleasant. The shuttle down to Bear Lake was fantastic.

My daughter and I camp here annually, and we LOVE it!! Such a fantastic location, and the campground is well-maintained.

We stayed a few weeks after the park was reopening after COVID. Only one flushing-bathroom was open, along with only 2 non-flushing (no hand wash sinks). Unfortunately, all were very dirty. The flushing was out of TP and hand soap. The non-flushing you could tell hadn't been cleaned recently as there was still animal droppings in the corners. We spoke to a ranger about it and was told that they didnt have the staff to fully open all restrooms at the campgrounds (nor to properly clean the ones that were open). Otherwise, campsites often share parking so would only advise one vehicle per campsite. Bear boxes are given at each site. Views of the area are not as good at this site as they are at the other campground. However, RMNP is beautiful and this did not ruin our stay!
