Enjoyed this visit. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hard to reserve a site for more than 2-3 days because of site availability. Need more "FF" sites.

Read my review for site 147. This site is a little more accessible because the curb is not quite as high. But the site has more pitch. Get out the bull dozer. This is an easy fix. Its a dirt pad. I do not recommend this site for a trailer or motorhome.

Beautiful campground with outstanding views. Hiked the Cub Lake loop directly from our campsite. Only issue is that you have to go through the Bear slake permit stop if you go into town and want to get back to the campground. The line can be slow since some people clearly dont have a permit and have to turn around

Our campsite was just down the hill from a beautiful vista of the continental divide! We put our camp chairs up there and hung out a lot..saw Mule Deer and Elk roaming daily. Our campsite neighbors were very friendly..we enjoyed chatting with them. It was so peaceful there and we will definitely camp there again after the repairs and updates are completed! Even though there were no showers and the restrooms were a bit of a hike, we loved being so close to the Elk Herds during the Rut!

Had a great camping experience. Great location with a view of Longs, quiet yet not too far from both the vault toilet and the comfort station. Saw several deer during our stay.

Fantastic all around campground. Sites here vary a lot if you are in a trailer or larger drivable rig. Check before booking. This is a hilly campground so many sites are not super level and may be a challenge to back in to. Ive camped here many times and it never gets old. Ice cream, good firewood, and ice for sale from a really kind man whos been coming for years. Elk always out somewhere. Ive seen moose too. Beautiful!

Beautiful sites, the rangers helped us straighten out our reservation and added my park pass for the discount after I neglected to do so. Thank you!

Loved listening to the elk! And being so close to them.

It was great weather and elk viewing was excellent. Our camp site was very good, but backing in was a trick due to washout and uphill backing. We did have some noisy neighbors, but not a problem.

I stayed in Moraine Park campground for four days over 4th of July weekend and the site was fantastic. My site was on the B loop and backed up to a ridge and just over the short ridge (20 feet) was a view of Moraine Park, where I sat and watched a beautiful thunderstorm roll in one night. The site is great, though the main park entrances are extremely congested on 4th of July weekend, so if you leave the park, be prepared to wait in a long, long, long line of cars to get back in, at least until the late afternoon, when the traffic clears out.
