Nice campground. Two Bear Lake shuttle stops to choose from, making it convenient to get to Bear Lake without having to drive. Helpful check-in staff.

Ricky Mountain National Park is a true gem. Campground has clean restrooms, proximity to hiking trails and was quiet at night.

Always a great time in the park - traffic was not bad and there were plenty of animals to view.

Moraine Park is a special piece of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain National Park system. This campground is peaceful, perfectly embedded in the natural high alpine environment, with mule deer, elk, chipmunks and more passing through as if the humans were harmless.Still a few easy changes would enhance this campground greatly for campers with trailers. First, allow campers to fill their water tanks from the spigot. Bizarrely, the signs posted at the potable water spigot ban connecting a hose to a water tank, an offense that is ranked right up there next to gutting fish. Next, the dump station is undersized -- only a single sump for hundreds of campsites! The dump station is also situated on the wrong side of the road, creating delays, traffic, and conflict for folks when they're heading home. This campground is a classic, must see, bucket list level experience. Nobody should miss out. Sadly, many people do miss out. It took me five years to get a reservation here. Book early, book often. Best of luck, may the peace found here be with you always.

It wasn't clear how I could add another vehicle to my reservation. Also wasn't clear whether I could Tent camp. Options were Camper, RV, Pop up. First time camping in 25+ years. I'll be back.

Clean, well-maintained campsite. Shuttle bus stops right outside the entrance. No shower, but If you have solar shower bags, they have solar shower shelters.
