This campground is in a great location in the Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, wildlife viewing and driving the beautiful roads with exceptional views. Site # 213 however was a poor choice. It's almost impossible to back a trailer into this site with a rock on the passenger side and another campsite directly in front of it on a sharp curve. This site sets in the middle of the curve with a downhill back in which makes it sit very low. When it rains your tires will be in water. Wasn't at the campsite much due to hiking but the only plus to this one is that it has electricity.

The area and scenery were of course beautiful. The campsites however are small and difficult to back into even with a short 20-footer like ours. And no showers. We stunk pretty good by the time we left.

Great campground. In the Fall, the elk are all in the rut nearby. You can hear the bulls’ murderous sounding bugles and see them in the meadows with their harems. Amazing. The campground is very clean and the dump station was very convenient.

We loved our stay at Moraine campground. We liked to go down In the warm afternoons to the creek in the meadow to take a c o l d dip.
