the elk were bugling and we watched the bulls herding their harems. We hiked along streams, visited the various sites and enjoyed our visit.

Site A137 was great. Easy access from entrance in the park, very close to restrooms and solar shower stalls. Gorgeous view of the park right from our site. Would recommend to others! Only one direct neighbor.

We were only there for 1 night but wished we had planned longer. The shuttle was an unexpected plus. The wildlife inside the campground was delightful. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Convenient park to a lot of the hiking and fishing in the park along with being really close to Estes park if you need to get supplies or dinner. The park is also along the Bear road corridor which makes it easier to get to those hikes. The sites were fairly spread out for a National Park Campground and my only complaint is people that can't figure out their Car alarms and wake people up at all hours.

Enjoyed camping in A Loop. Had a bear box that we shared with a neighboring site, but no one was camping that night. The restroom is small, and we didn't use the outdoor shower that requires your own source of water. But we saw millions of stars, and the next morning an elk ran through the campground.
