Very clean and organized campground. My site was nice, I had a bear box and a nice flat place for the tent.

Very neat campsites in a beautiful area. Nice picnic tables, fire rings and pole roofs block the sun. Great star viewing! Milky Way was easily visible. Very quiet.

Nice park and friendly staff if you don't count the mean old lady selling firewood (who by the way did not work for the park service). Only real issue is that people leave food out or in unlocked vehicles and the bears come through EVERY night. I had to reunite a shredded backpack with its owner that had snacks in it and was in an unlocked car. People, don't be slobs and leave food out or unlocked, it is dangerous to campers and the bears! The bears have zero problems opening unlocked doors. The simple solution is to use the provided bear box for all food, drink and even toiletries. All in all we had a great time and the rangers as well as all park staff were excellent!

The Ranger staff at RMNP were very friendly and helpful. Their attention to COVID-19 precautions were impressive and they did not let that stand in the way of customer service. The campsite was clean and in good repair. It shares a parking spot with site A090.
Good

Campground is in a great location. Woke up both mornings to deer grazing nearby. Spots fill up quickly so reserve early.

This is an amazing place to camp in RMNP. The drive into Estes Park is not far and its easy to get to all of the other parts of the park from here. We have stayed here several times and it gets better each time. The campsites are clean with plenty of room. The restrooms are clean and well situated around the park. Weve had deer come into our campsites and sometimes you can hear elk bugle down in the valley. As soon as the sun goes down it gets quiet. Its a very family friendly place and we plan on taking our little girl back again and again.
