Great campground. Clean, well spaced out... very nice. I'd give it 10 elks for sure.

Parker Rangers and staff were top notch. Campsite was clean and comfortable. Beware camping near a bathroom: The lights stay on all night, and the hand blow-dryers are loud enough to wake you up.

Easy in and easy out. Really enjoyed the Ranger's Star-Gazing presentation!

I love Moraine Park and have camped in various sites over the years. This site felt like an afterthought, tucked between multiple sites so people would walk right through our site to get to the bathroom that was right next door. Wouldnt recommend this specific site.

This large Campground was run very smoothly, with the rangers in the registration booth exhibiting skill and courtesy. The restrooms were adequate, although at least one comfort station and rest rooms was out of order. Some faucets were inoperable, and the rains had washed out several campsites. But, hey, when small groupsof deer and larger herds of elk wander through I just felt grateful. On clear nights, the stars were awesome. The Ranger programs were terrific, but there were only 3 per week in late-August when the campsite was full. The shuttle stop at the campgroud entrance was so convenient.

All though trail ridge was scenic and highly recommended as a must do, it was very frightening. My anxiety was through the roof because there was minimal guard rails. I felt like my car was 5 inches from driving off the mountain with every turn . Plus the higher you get, your vision gets impaired by the darkness of the clouds, pouring rain, and complete blindness of oncoming traffic with their brights on. I also felt this way driving up to Bear Lake. Side note: if you have small children or just children in general who like to bicker in the car, I would make sure its their nap time so you wont get distracted from driving. We stayed at 5 campsites over 5 days, each with its own personality. Had 4 separate moose sightings during our stay! Easy access in/out of the park, clean restrooms, very nice people. Park Service is short-handed at entry points which makes for a longer wait at times, but overall great experience!

my site and perhaps most, lacked any "buffer/privacy" between sites. I'm spoiled without it. Popular N. Parks are probably all the same.
