Great location for elk watching. Our site was level, clean, and quiet. Its our favorite campground in the park.

Located inside the RMNP, you have unrestricted access to everything down the Bear Lake corridor without a timed entry reservation, the site was visited by deer and elk in the meadow, the trees are mature and provide great shade and the time we were there, it was super quiet. Plus, it's a short drive into Estes Park for Ice Cream, shopping or dining. Great place to visit & camp...highly recommend.

Amazing views from the campground. Lots of elks visible. We had a group of elks walk past our tent site early in the morning. Only downside on Loop B- It has vault toilets and they were not clean.

The solar showers needed attention. One was deadbolted and the other had a plugged drain. The bathroom that had running water and flush toilets was hard to get to as the loop it is on was closed . The vault toilets were clean. The shuttle bus stop is a short walk from the campground and well worth it so you dont have to hunt for a parking place at the trailhead.
