The site was beautiful. You could see the mountains from some angles. Deer came to visit our site. Dog friendly but only on campground.

We loved our time at Moraine Park! Very easy to ride the shuttle to Bear or Sprague Lakes and continue on hikes from there. So nice to hear the elk bugling at night in early September. This is the largest campground where we have stayed - restrooms were varied with some comfort stations and some pit toilets - all clean but most a further walk than we are used to. Great to have bear boxes at each site without sharing. There is also a trail from the campground to the Cub Lake trailhead which we used at times. We did not have our dogs with us this trip, but would come again with them. Lots of campground loops to walk them since they cannot go on park trails. RMNP did a nice job with their renovations here!

This is our favorite campground. We love the new electric sites and flush toilets. So glad you are back open. Great staff members.

Amazing camp ground. Seem to be good views from most anywhere. Easy access to the rest of the park. While we missed having showers, the pit toilets were in great shape. Looking forward to camping here again in the future.
