Really nice campground with a unique layout. Loop D was the quietest camp loop Ive ever stayed in. Bathrooms were clean.

after being closed for 2.5 years I was disappointed when I found the flush toilet plugged. That problem has not been solved. Was like that before the project. Also, the water pumps that you put in are incredible hard to open and close. I had to get help to turn it off. I checked several of them as I was on an exploratory camping trip to check out the changes. Most of them were dripping because people could not shut them off.My tent pad had weeds growing in it and holes. The weeds/grass under the picnic table was waist high. I realize that something like this might be due to budget constraints but the plumbing issues are not.

The staff were very helpful and on top of making sure the roads and areas were clear. We were politely asked to move our car once which I respect cause that does help make sure everyone can use the space appropriately.Bathroom were in great shape. We saw an elk walk through our campground which was a bit unnerving, but we were told that since there's 2000 elk roaming around the area, it is important to just be safe.Overall great experience.

Like described - you walk into this campsite. It's about 75 feet of walking from your car to the site. Because of this it is a bit more secluded than many sites. There is a boulder next to the tent pad you can climb to get a phenomenal view of the mountains. This site provided 0 tree cover. Luckily it was mostly cloudy and not hot during our stay, but that would be a problem on hotter days.

The campground is very well maintained and clean. We stayed in Loop D which is a little more secluded which was perfect! The bathrooms were under construction in this area but should be nice and new for 2020. Staying in the park saves the time in and out everyday plus the shuttle stops at the entrance to the campground.

The campground was so beautiful! We shared two sites with some cousins and had an amazing weekend (end of July 2019). The only downer was road construction in the park that slowed things down. Also, the rangers really scared my wife with the bear talk and she found it hard to sleep. Other than that, it was awesome!
