Good experience. Clean, well maintained campsite. Was surrounded by elk, literally, in my campsite. Was very careful. Only thing that I did not like was the vendor selling ice at $8.00 a bag. That is called price gouging and I am surprised the NPS allows it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in RMNP at Moraine Campground. Bathrooms were well maintained and campsites were well kept. For anyone looking for a more secluded campsite in such a popular area I suggest A111.

Camped at Moraine Park Campground for 2 nights during the first week of August and had a great experience! A111 was very private and quiet, and set back an easy 240ft walk from the parking spot. We had beautiful views from our site, and saw some deer in the mornings walking by our area. The walk to the nearest bathroom was not too far, and there was a sink to wash dishes and a potable water spigot located outside the bathhouse. The nearest solar shower stalls were closed, which was the only slight negative to our stay. Our site had a mix of sun and shade. Would be happy to return to this site in the future!

I got to stay innA115 campsite. I went to sleep, and was awoken in middle of the night, and awoke to elk bugling. It was a private spot.

Fourth of July seemed y crowded and peaceful! The layout of the park and the timed/permitted roads helped!

One of my favorite car camping spots. The tent pads are flat. The bathrooms are clean. No running showers but there are solar shower stalls. Also, Estes Park has places you can pay to shower. Plenty of sites have pretty good shading to minimize sun exposure to your tent. Conveniently located bear boxes for food storage. It's well staffed and the rangers are friendly. The south side has a lot of sites with nice views overlooking the giant meadow below. There's lots of wildlife too. Deer often wander around the grounds. Guy next to me saw a bear the last time I was there. Elk herds often come through some of the adjacent meadows.

We stayed two nights and each night had walk-in tents sites. Outstanding views and nice privacy. Loved it.
