Quiet remote seeming campground. Clean. Excellent volunteer host. Appreciate the electric power for medical appliance. Wish better cell phone coverage

Very quiet and pleasant experience. I would give it an "Excellent" rating if it had water/sewer hookups.

Potato Patch is a lovely campground. We camped in a travel trailer in the electric hookup loop. It was fairly quiet and our site was spacious and pretty.

The people in our site were not packing up or looking as if they were intending to do so anytime soon at noon. Checkout is 11. We didn't say anything or talk to anyone but the ranger saw us thru the campground and asked us as we were leaving what site we had reservations for. We told him the site but also said we knew we were early and would just drive around the area and come back at two. He visited the site and confirmed with the campers that check out was 11. They began packing up immediately and the site was vacant and ready for us by 1 when we returned.

We made a reservation several weeks prior to our stay. When we reserved, the website allowed us to pay and reserve the first night. The website informed us, the second night was not reservable, but would be first come first served only. When we attempted to pay the second night through campground host, we were told, the site was already taken and was reserved through the website. We were told there has been website issues for a very long time and the “first come first served” status was an error through the website. We had planned our trip weeks in advance and were misled, and our family trip was disrupted due to website issues and we had to be told to leave due to website error. Now, I receive a review survey! This is appalling, to say the least. No one care less, we were told to leave our campsite due to website error, it’s a problem which has been taking place for quite some time and won’t be fixed, even though families travel distances to camp in the facility.
