Great Park- good amount of space between sites, negative pressure composting toilets (no bad smell), easy access to bike/hike trail from inside park. Only caveat is some of the sites are kinda tight for larger rigs - if you are towing youll probably want to disconnect in advance.

Beautiful park tucked in with trees and boulders. Quiet, clean and 10 miles from our home.

Nice place!! The bathrooms were odor-free, everyone was quiet and the hiking was amazing. My favorite sites are: #1 #3 #12 and #18.

The toilets are really nice. Campsites are close to each other, but beautiful. Lots of bugs in late July.

We love this campground. It is secluded, has great views and is close to great hiking. We hiked the Little Granite Mountain Loop one day and stayed at the campsite the next day to watch the partial eclipse.

Great spot to camp. Our young family of 5 stayed at campsite 12 and loved it. The kids enjoyed climbing the rocks, clean bathrooms and space to roam. We would stay here again.

It was great. The hosts were very nice. Everything was clean. It had the cleanest compost bathroom I have ever seen and it didn’t smell. This place is great

Clean, quiet campground with excellent tent pad and driveway. Beautiful view of Granite Mountain and the surrounding area. Good hike to Granite Basin Lake from campground. Will definitely return and tell my friends about it.

Each site has a beautiful view of Granite Mountain. Sites are spread out with vegetation between them.

Site 12. We had a beautiful view. The tent site was level, and filled with tiny pea gravel. There were also trees at a perfect distance apart for my hammock. Be careful wandering around the trees; there were stumps of cut saplings that you could easily trip over. The granite boulders/outcroppings also gave us an element of privacy from the other sites. The bathrooms were close, and I was pleasantly surprised to find composting toilets and a motion-activated light. No smell! The light might get annoying for the site across from the toilets however.

We really enjoyed our stay out at yavapai campground, the lake was no more than 5 minute drive away and was beautiful. The only down fall was during our stay there was fire restrictions so we couldn't do a campfire, other than that will absolutely return in the very near future.

The burning out of underbrush has made the campground, in general, fairly unpleasant. There was no campground host during our stay, that I could tell, our site was never updated to show that we had it reserved.

The campground was clean and the CampGround keepers were very nice and helpful when we needed anything.

This was a simple overnight stay to check out a camping rig I hadn't used in three years. Didn't use the facilities to any extent. Nice campground, but the loop road is tricky for large rigs. Important to let people know that ahead of time. Campsites are secluded, which is nice.

They didn’t have their dog tied up and it attacked my wife, and also one of them came up to our campsite I think pretty drunk late at night. It was a little creepy. Never had that kind of experience with campground hosts before.

Nice campground, very secluded campsites. We had campsite #12 and it was very private. Only challenge was lack of shade in the afternoon, between 1pm-5pm. Bring a canopy if you plan to be there in the afternoon. Other than that, very quite and nice getaway!
