Nice quiet campground close to many trails. Although only pit toilets where provided the composting toilets were clean and relatively oderless. We plan on returning.

Nice spot with water and elect. Great views and some nice trails. Need State Pass to access lakes.

Nice quiet area, clear vault toilets and nice hosts that you don't really know are there. Cell coverage isn't good, but that's a plus :)

Beautiful campground. Lots of trails to hike. I love that there are trails for all from easy to difficult. I also love that cell signal coverage is good and it is so close to shopping and conveniences while being so secluded. My new favorite campground!

Site was exactly as described. Campground was well taken care of and not too busy considering it was a weekend. We were right next to the camp host however he never came over to our site to say hello or check our reservation. Campground is only about 5 miles west of Prescott so access to local business is easy. We would stay here again when in the area.

We are new to the area, having just moved from northern California to Prescott Valley last October. This was our first outing with our RV since our move. We had a very relaxing & enjoyable time at Yavapai Campground. The weather was perfect with a nice breeze. The camp hosts do a great job of keeping the campground clean. We definitely will be back.

We always have fun at Yavapai. It’s beautiful with lots of trails to explore. It has clean bathrooms and campgrounds with plenty of space between each camp site. Only two sites have electricity hookup all else are dry camping.

We decided to take a last minute “long weekend” trip and we’re lucky enough to grab a site that had a recent cancellation. It was our first time to this campground but it won’t be our last. The site was level, had a nice fire pit, picnic table, had significant space between each site, and the trail was right behind the sites. The restrooms were very clean and within a short walk from the site. The views were great and the camp host was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to get wood from him on our first night and he even checked in with us to see if we needed more before his next trip into town. Site 009 was the only site with electric, but since we have a good solar setup, we will consider other sites as well. It was a nice, relaxing weekend away.
