I arrived at the White Spar Campground around 9:00 PM, but unfortunately, my reserved site, Spot 19, was already occupied. I double-checked my reservation to ensure it was confirmed for me. I'm not sure how this mix-up happened, but it was quite disappointing. I attempted to speak with the campground manager for assistance, but it seemed they were already asleep at that hour.

Its one of our favorite campsites ever. But this last go around we had random people camping right behind our spot that shouldnt have been there. They were not even paying customers.

The campground was fine. The campground host were nice. My problem is with the online reservation system. I travel between Alaska, Montana, and Arizona every year. I don't have a carved in stone itinerary. In the Prescott weekend, I needed three nights at the campground but, your website would only allow for two. I figured the campground hosts could straighten this out. No, no, no. It was out of their hands. So, no I do not like online only recreation.gov system.

The campground host was not present for our weekend, toilet paper ran out at the bathroom near our site and the bathrooms were not kept clean.

Facilities are lacking and dirty. There is no water for trailer nor any other hook ups. Beautiful location though.

Campground was 10/10! Camp host? Trash. Rude and not helpful at all and annoyed at us needing assistance. Would recommend avoiding contact if possible.

Great campsites, clean and well kept. Not a lot of noise or loud parties.

Convenient campground with lots of clean spaces. I would prefer more sites available on a first come, first served basis. We did not have internet access so had to call to make a reservation which certainly seemed long and tedious. Most of the sites were by reservation only, but no indication on the site if it was actually reserved, so we spent much time on the phone determining the available sites - a very poor use of time for both of us. Furthermore, the sites we had selected by driving around were mostly accessible sites so not available to us. However, there was not indication on any of the sites about their accessibility status. All in all a very frustrating procedure.

This is the first rec.gov campsite we’ve visited since the pandemic that didn’t have hand sanitizer in the bathrooms - what’s up with that?

Nice level sites. Beautiful campground with nice hikes right out of the campground and only 2.5 miles from Prescott downtown.

Great location for hiking with easy access to Prescott's amenities. Moderate road noise was the only significant downside. I'll definitely return.

Beautiful area, very nice trails, clean vault toilets with plenty of fresh drinkable water, low noise even though near the road.

The campground is very nice and clean. Very much enjoyed our stay. The trails nearby are great for riding and hiking with lots of options. Close to downtown. One thing to watch out for is that some of the sites are angled weird. If you have a towable RV, you need to go the wrong way on the one-way loop to get even a small trailer in. We did not need to, but the people next to us had to after quite a few attempts to make it work going the right way.
