Great campground. Well maintained. Would have given it five stars had the camp host come by and checked us in and explained the rules (there were people having loud parties late into the night) - it might help to notify everyone of the rules.

Hosts were available & friendly. Restrooms were kept clean. Overall it was a much better experience than last year.

We always enjoy Lone Rock but this year, unlike years past, the store is not there, or at least not the one from year’s past. That location is now the camp host’s site and he was very helpful when we bought some firewood.

The new company that is managing the campground isn't doing a good job. They only had one camp host for entire campground. The firepit was full of ashes. The restrooms were terrible. They keep raising the prices for sites and service is lousy. It looked like they were letting some people live in the campground. There were orv driving through the campgrounds in the middle of the night. I probably won't go back again after going there for over thirty years.

Very disappointed this year at Lone Rock Campground. Have been coming to Antelope Lake for 40+ years and this is the first year ever that the experience was terrible. Reserved 3 campsites in January and was charged accordingly. On the 2nd day was told that any 2nd car would be charged an $8.00 charge per night. My reservation showed for 2 vehicles and no charges were done when I reserved, so you campers need to jam 6 people into 1 car or you will be charged the extra fee. I guess it's something new as of the 2nd day of camping.
Also, having people next to you that told on your every move made the trip really unpleasant. A deer walking through their camp thinking that one of our party was in their camp, laughing maybe a little too hard, I guess looking at them, kids riding bikes (there was one time that they needed talked to) but after that every little thing was a trip to the Camp Host or Manager by THEM. We even went to them and said if there was a problem to let us know and all was good until the host told us the next day that they complained that we were picking on them. We never did complain about them flipping us off, their dogs constantly barking whenever someone walked by, one of their drunk party running into our post and getting stuck while kids were riding their bikes - UNTIL the last time we saw them pointing and complaining to the camp host. AND we were considered the bad guys (although after we complained we weren't really bothered anymore by the hosts except them driving by numerous times). I've been at that campground when other people have been there having a good time and a little too jolly but have never complained as these people did.
Also if you are planning on catching fish, you might go to another lake. Sounds like no fish planted in Antelope Lake this year. In years past everyone had a great time fishing. I did give this trip 2 stars because the campsite was clean and everyone had fun swimming and kayaking if that's all you are coming for.
