We were at campsite 114 and felt like that campsite was significantly lower quality than the others. It has no protection from the RV turnaround or overflow parking. The park is beautiful, but I wish I was aware of the difference between campsite quality before arriving.

Pinnacles has improved a lot over the years. The campground is exceptionally nice. The shuttle system could use some improving however, one bus is not enough on busy weekends. Curious to see if the campground pool opens up this summer, that would be pretty cool.

Needs more bathrooms so people at the back of the campground dont have to walk so far. Other than that its a beautiful campground with large campsites. I had a great time and cant wait to visit again!!

Making me pay 50 dollars a night to camp in the park and then also pay and entrance fee is ridiculous

A great park and wonderful campground. Overall. However, prices for the items available for purchase are inflated. The bathrooms were not well kept. And there is little to no cell service.

Nice campground with pool and store, but bathrooms are pretty far from each other if you are just doing tent camping and the water fountains are not very easy to find!

The park was fantastic and the hikes were incredible. We made last minute reservations so didn’t get prime campsites, so that plays into the three stars. The bathrooms were under construction which added some inconvenience and a huge limb from an oak fell on the neighboring site. Luckily no one was injured. The people in the camp store and the National Park store were incredibly kind and welcoming.

I loved the campground and spent a lot of time on the hikes that take off from there, only heading up into the park for the last day. Even walking the campground roads was interesting--there was still water in the creek despite a drought year. Just be aware that if you want to get to the caves/high peaks/reservoir, you'll need to drive. (Hopefully they'll get the shuttle up and running again.) If you're tenting it, beware that restrooms are few and far between--especially if you're near the RV section! And there was only ONE functional shower for women in the entire park. The showers were warm, but really need an upgrade. But who can complain too much? It's the Pinnacles, after all! For something different, head into Tres Pinos for a meal or cruise through Paicines and explore BLM land.
