well maintained car camping site. Outstanding trails get you where you want to be to see the birds.

We were not able to camp in the location we reserved because someone else left their rv there but the ranger was very helpful and moved us to a nicer location. Campground was clean and quiet.

We camped at site #132 and enjoyed the campground very much. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The bathrooms were well maintained.

Great campground for car camping with tents. Most sites are spread out and give plenty of space and a few of them are quite secluded

Amazing park! High peaks trail gets you close to the condors! Both caves were open last week and are awesome! Bring water and a flashlight.

I didn't understand about the reservation process because of different experiences with other national parks, but the ranger that came by was gracious and patient and waited for me to correct my mistake. So that was a relief.I'm not sure why this park campground is so ridiculously expensive compared to other nearby national parks or why it's using the methods it is using that are not exactly friendly to the public. The campground was fine, but not compared to the price.I was traveling with my dogs so I can't really say much about the park.

Great place for star gazing at night and quiet reflection during the day (weekdays). The NPS store is very cute, and the campground store has everything you can think of. Didnt get to the pool this time, but it looked very inviting. The raccoons are no joke though! Dont leave any food or food-like stuff unattendednot even for a moment!

We absolutely love camping at the pinnacles. The campsites we had we're spacious and clean. Clean bathrooms. Fun in the pool. And we love the campground store. We saw raccoons, deer, turkeys, bunnies, lizards, quail, jays, woodpeckers, and lots of other birds from our campsite. One rattlesnake out on a hike. And the full moon was so bright that we didn't need headlamps at our campsite at night!

This is a large campground with a lot of amenities. It was clear to me it is a place that it is a favorite venue for many families. I enjoyed watching all the parents and children enjoying the freedom of the outdoors. Water was easy to obtain, the bathrooms were clean. I enjoyed visiting the camp store and the small visitors center. The shuttle system worked well.As a first-timer, there are few things I would do differently next time. The bathroom was a 10-minute walk away from my camp site: I could have chosen better in that regard. Also, the camp sites were not well defined in my area, at least. During the second night of my stay, I was in a small area between two large families. It would be have easier had I been able to understand beforehand where others where likely to camp in that vicinity. On a next visit, I would look for something a bit closer to the bathroom and, if possible to detect, a bit more private.Regardless of those small qualms, I found the Pinnacles campground delightful.

Conveniently located just after the park eastern entrance, the camp site is well laid out, with pleasant staff. A big plus is the 5-10min drive to the trailhead parking lots, making it easy got get a spot before the crowd comes in. Alternatively, the Bench Trail that runs through the campsite allows for a hike towards the trailheads too.

Campground is decent. Very open, little to no privacy for most sites.
