Well maintained campground. Restrooms and the portable sinks were clean and well stocked.

Although restrooms in the campgrounds are porta-potties, they were clean and well stocked. Campsites had great shade and were clean. The camp store and attached bookstore were both well stocked and staff was very friendly. Wildlife was very bold so careful with storing food. We did the high peaks hike and the balconies hike, both of which were amazing. Bring plenty of water for both.

I love this "little" national park! We camped in a tent in the campground. It's a little tricky with the campsites as some seem to be really close together (our tent spot was right next to the neighbor's parking spot), but the part overall is awesome! The hiking has something for everyone - super easy, flat, short trails to longer, elevation gain, longer trails. There are caves that are amazing. And the BIRDS! So many birds! Hawks, condors, turkeys, jays. It was amazing to hear them and even spot some of them. There were deer near our campsite and the stars at night did not disappoint. While I'm no fan of port-o-poddies, these had to be some of the cleanest and non-stinky ones I've ever visited. I love this place so much!

I would have given this a five star review but the they did not have bathrooms at the far end of the campground only port-a-poties. The camping fees for a campground that does not proper facilities seems a bit steep.

We were at the far end of the campground and only had porta-potties but paid the same price as other sites that had access to flush toilets. The showers were filthy and we opted not to use them. Our site was very small and had no privacy from the site next to us. It was very challenging to level our camper van as the ground was unlevel. When we returned after our hike, there were 4 inch ruts dug into the pavement as a crew was patching the roadway. Although we fully understand that the road work needed to be completed, Im sure there were other ways of accomplishing the work without putting your customers at risk of damaging their vehicles. Although we loved Pinnacles, we were disappointed overall in the condition of the park, especially since this is a national park.

Our spot was beautiful. We were able to change sites pretty easy as our initial site was really close to another.Only problem really was the shower and bathrooms by the store.Toilets were backed up in the portable and standing water up to our ankles in the shower. The showers in with the bathrooms were also backed up and water everywhere. Apparently the other showers in the portables were broken? Showers for an entire campground was definitely not adequate

Nice campground in a great location. Camp store is wonderful to have right there. Pool is great in the summer.

The camp store saved us when our pop up tent broke and they had one to rent. Very clean campground with great bathrooms. Beware of the raccoons! They are so bold.

Wonderful campground with nature exposure and great access to hikes. Some restrooms are under construction and watch out for the raccoons. Keep your car doors closed at all times!

It was our first time visiting Pinnacles, and we felt right at home as soon as we checked in. We entered through the east entrance, not knowing it was the only way to the site! Which, mind you, was our bad. But Im glad we went in the right way. Check in was a breeze. We went on Predisents Day holiday, and we had just missed the big crowds. We checked in at the camp store, set up our tent and things, and went exploring. Everyone was so friendly. Every staff member was welcoming and excited for us to be there and offered their advice and tips on how to enjoy our trip to the fullest. The campsite was clean and perfect size (it was just my husband and I, plus our cat). The site was tucked away on loop c, and it was perfect for stargazing and feeling safe and comfortable. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for quiet time, proximity to the restroom, and for stargazing. Lots of little critters everywhere too! Cant wait to go back.

Beautiful park with well-maintained trails. I saw almost no litter throughout the park! Staff at the store and gift shop were pleasant and helpful. When we had to change from a tent site to a cabin, the cleaning staff were extra accommodating and enabled us to move early, although they had to change their lunch break to do so.
I suggest more bathrooms and more garbage containers.
The tent cabin was VERY nice! However, the small electric heater was nearly useless and I suggest eliminating them altogether because of the wasted energy.
We plan to return to this beautiful park. Please please PLEASE do what you can to keep it a dark park, because one of its very best assets is great stargazing!

Lovely campsites. It's more like a nature preserve with deer, skunk, squirrel, quail, jays, hawks, owls, and coyote. Access to the park and the hiking trails was easy and the showers at the end of the day were soothing.

So much wildlife! Camping store and visitor center rocked! Best hiking, really loved seeing the condors and identifying them from profiles online. Would love to see the bats, maybe someday! Best camping experience of my life for sure.

Fantastic Park! Visiting in early February was great. I went mid-week and had a lot of solitude on the trails. Temps were lower 60s during the day and upper 30s/low 40s at night. Only had a little rain, but not unusual for this time of year. My campsite (78) was a little closer to the next campsite than I would have liked, but my neighbors were nice.

This place has been my secret escape since the beginning of Covid. I started going in March and I was so impressed by the unbelievable scenery and geological history. I learned a lot about the formation of the rocks and minerals of the park, and the many different colorful types of lichens, and the animals of the park. I couldnt have hoped for more gorgeous nature to explore. Only thing, i found a bit difficult learning the different parts of the park. I will definitely continue going back!

Its a fabulous campground and a gem of a national park. We loved chatting with the folks who run the place:)

Nice campground. We had a private campground nestled in the trees. Variety of sites, some closer that others. Non-hook-up sites were less crowded which is not uncommon. Enjoyed the park and the hiking through the caves.

We had a great visit! Since we camped in the middle of January it was quite cold (around 30 degrees at night) so I definitely recommend making sure that uou have the right gear to be able to make it through the night and a lot of firewood. We had a 2-3 hour high through the Bear Gulth Cave up to the High Peaks trail, which was fantastic and offered amazing 360 views. The next day, we took Old Pinnacles Trail through the Balconies caves. In the Balconies cave you had to walk through ankle deep water, so be prepared with the correct shoes. I highly recommend both hikes and they can be completed in just 2-3 hours. Great visit!
