Beautiful Campground with Just One Small FlawLoved our stay at Pinnacles Campground! Perfect campsite and beautiful hike to the reservoir and Balcony Caves. Only downside was a clogged restroomhope maintenance improves. Still, wed definitely come back!

The campground was excellent, very busy but excellent. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and kept everything ship shape.

Will return to try and see a condor again.

The campsite showers were hot and everything was easy. I liked that there were paths to everywhere in the park and good signage.

Overall great campground and NP! As for the campsite appreciated they have rules about generators and have signage encouraging people to be mindful about light! (Do not recommend site #6 as every car driving into that loop has to sweep their headlights over your site)

This campground was conveniently placed and a pleasant to stay at! We were here for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the area! A general store, running water, and even a shower takes the notions of rugged camping away.

Too many cars speeding through the campground. No traffic enforcement. Park employees were also in violation of the 5 and 10 mph limit

Got a warning for having two cars even though our reservation at RV site included two cars - apparently some fine print that the RV trailer counted as a "car". Ranger came by chalk marking sites and gave us a warning for parking outside the chalk marks he just put down, even though we were on the gravel (and no chalk marks when we parked). The parking lots in the park were all full by 8am, so we arranged two private shuttles to get our group to the trail head. Half the group was dropped off, then rangers closed the road (just at the campground, 2.5 miles from the trailhead) and made the rest of our group hike in while the first group waited over an hour at trailhead, not knowing what had happened because there was no cell service. Well, apart from that it is a gorgeous park...

We enjoyed the park 100%. The campground was good. We were in site 6. The first night, a Monday night, was quiet and the restrooms were clean and in good condition. The second night, a large group of youth occupied many of the sites in our loop. While we enjoyed watching them have fun, it was way too many people for one bathroom, and by the next morning, the restrooms were unusable. We ended up driving to the restrooms by the showers near the store. We were surprised that a large group was allowed to occupy multiple sites. It seems they should have been in a group site.

The shuttles weren't running. We had to get to the trailhead early. Good sightings of the condors!

Another great national park! Loved camping here near all the hiking trails. Highly recommend the caves and Condor Gulch up to the top of Pinnacles. Breathtaking!

Rangers were very friendly & knowledgeable. Caves & trails well maintained. Pool , showers , and toilets routinely cleaned . Please stop euthanizing raccoons for poor human behavior.

Excellent campground and National Park! We had so much fun walking the trails and hiking through the caves! The camp store had EVERYTHING you could need to camp and they were super nice and helpful. Will def be back!

Pinnacles is a spectacular destination, best visited in the cool months. High Peaks trail is must-see, plus great opportunities for night sky photography. It is disappointing that they charge for admission into the park ($30 for one person) ON TOP of campsite reservation fees. Most other parks don't do this, including the parks across the hills on the Big Sur Coast. The campground is poorly maintained: Only 1 women's shower working (only 2 total) at this incredibly hot location! The shower stalls are rusted all the way through, so that most of the pillars are resting on air. This in spite of the fact that they have a huge maintenance yard, much larger than the Big Sur campgrounds, which are MUCH better maintained. In May, a busy month, the rangers were only available at the nature centers for a limited time, although when I left there were 3 at the entrance booth. I recommend State Parks find a more proactive concessionaire who maintains the buildings and shares the entrance fee, as for other parks.

Smaller national park than many in California but don't let that fool you! It was a beautiful area to camp in for a couple days. Campsites are big and spacious and fit my 10x14 tent easily. My only downside with this campground is that many of the campgrounds are not as private as you would think. Other than that this campground is top notch with facilities and overall campsite size.

Our stay at the park was great! The weather was in the mid-70's during the day and 30's at night. We had water, bathrooms, recycling/garbage really close by which made things super convenient. Everyone was respectful in wearing their masks while using the restrooms and there was plenty of signage. If you're visiting during warmer weather, shade in your site will be crucial to a more enjoyable day!

Loved our stay! Be prepared if you book a standard no electric site for your RV—you are also not allowed to run a generator.

One solution RV campers were using to solve their batteries running out, was solar panels.

We’re new RV campers, so we did lose power. But we were grateful for the education at such a beautiful place with tons of wildlife our kids really enjoys seeing.

Clean bathrooms, hot showers and trails for all ages. We had a great time.

Staff continues to be amazing, especially during the pandemic.
Only suggestion I have is to implement one way routes on trails where appropriate.
