Overall, it's a nice campground. We have campsite 21 & 22 which are across from one another and didn't have immediate neighbors. There was also a water spicket nice and close. Both sites are close to road and 21 had some nice shade but 22 didn't really have any shade. The showers and bathrooms were nice and clean. Staff in the shops are friendly. It was a hot weekend and the pool was closed which was my only compliant. It was a nice campground and experience, I would definitely return.AT&T cell service worked fine, Visable had no reception.

This campground is perfect in every way! I loved my campsite #21 in June it was in the shade for most of the day. The raccoons will take everything if it is not locked away.

Had a great time here with the family. Restrooms were not far from our site and there was a nice pool to cool off in.

Stayed one night in the pouring rain, but worth it for the hike and views the next day!

Ranger at the gate was very nice.

Nice amenities and pretty hikes. My favorite was the dark skies - great views of the Milky Way in July and August!

Campground was relatively well maintained. Shade was at a premium but I’m not sure how this could be improved. We left early due to unanticipated heat and he inability o use a generator to cool off in our van. I would return but at a different time of year.

Great campground for a national park. Running water and real bathrooms, plus free hot showers. It wasn’t really pool weather but that’s another huge perk. The park is absolutely gorgeous. Can’t complain.

This park far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful scenery, well maintained trails, and lots of birds. The high peaks loop via Condor Ridge trail is stunning!!

The park itself is a hidden gem, and the hiking is great. Some of the campsites are a little bit on top of each other, but we had a good spot with a decent amount of privacy. The camp store is very nice and the staff were also very friendly. We saw rangers several times throughout, which helped to ensure that it was a safe and quiet time. They totally left us alone at night while we were relaxing by our fire, but their presence seemed to deter the usual loud partying late into the night that often happens at large campgrounds. Also, the EV charger at the store was great. We didn't need it, but it's great to have that peace of mind in case you're running low.

I spent two nights and three days at Pinnacles--my first visit. The area is lovely, and I enjoyed some short hikes and bird-watching. The downsides were a not-so-great campsite (now that I've seen other sites, I'll know where to request) and noisy, boorish neighbors (which I can't fault Pinnacles for). All in all, a good experience.

Beautiful rocks! Nice variety of trails with different ratings.

Nice views on the trails. Helpful staff. Mosquitoes and heat are unavoidable but it is the outdoors.

Campsite 21 has some nice shade most of the day, but also gets some drive by car traffic throughout the day. Also the table is right next to the road so be careful if you have little ones. Still I’d book this site again.

There is a pool, which is nice on hot days. Shower in bathroom next door needs quarters. Bathrooms were not lit at night.

A fair amount of animals. Beware of squirrels during day and raccoons at night! They will get into unattended food! But on the flip side, there were a number of deer that wandered by. Also a lot of condors were visible. Look up in the tree as they may be perched there as we saw!

Overall had a good experience here.

The High Peaks loop trail is an incredible hike in itself and getting to see the condors makes it even better. We also enjoyed the hike to North Chalone North Peak and the stunning views from the top. The campsite was also very nice and the nearby camp store was handy.

dogs are not allowed on any trails & not allowed to enter pinnacles park, only allowed at campground & no trails at campground.

Be sure to bring your own food supplies. The store's food supply is very high priced.
