Campground check-in at the camp store is swift. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The campground itself is clean. We stayed in C Loop and there are no flushing toilets; instead there are porta potties. If that's not your cup of tea, book a site in another loop to be closer to flushing toilets and showers. Speaking of the showers: there are 2 types -- one is more public and is found in the general bathrooms, and the other showers are in a trailer like vehicle behind the camp store. There are single use bathrooms and showers, but the space is tight and can be difficult to maneuver when drying off and trying to get dressed. We've camped here in June, February, and May and it's been a lovely experience each time. Pinnacles has interesting trails to offer for both the light hiker as well as the long distance hiker. We have Google Fi as our phone service, and there was reception in several areas of the campground. There's also guest wifi near the camp store. We were able to get reception at the car when it was parked at our campsite.

Pinnacles NP and the hiking trails are 5+++ but the campground is a 2 at best. We have stayed at NP campgrounds all over the country but nowhere else have we paid fees this high. The base fee is bad enough, but then there's a weekend fee, change fee, and weekend two night minimum! The campsites are fine but the far loop only has porta-potties. And a designated trail from the far loop to the bench trail would be a great idea, rather than having to walk an additional 1-2 miles through the campground after a full day of hiking. Yes, we would probably stay there again because we love this park and it's convenient for trail access, but probably one night during the week.

campgrounds were awesome and the trails, especially getting up in the peaks and down in the caves, was a wonderful experience

Campground was clean and well maintained. The seasonal creek and large oak trees make this campground especially beautiful. However, the raccoons are particularly aggressive at stealing snacks so make sure to keep all your food put away and your car doors closed at all times! Also, do not leave any food in your tent ever!

Great camping, clean restrooms, wonderful hiking. A bit disappointed that had to pay for wifi. Appreciate efforts for dark skies as we love to star gaze!

The campsite was clean with plenty of room to back our small trailer into. Being able to hike the the Bear Gulch Trail for our campsite was an added bonus. Water was fresh and bathrooms kept clean.

The High Peaks Trail was a highlight. Unfortunately caves were closed due to Covid
