It was very fun! Very fun hikes, well paved hikes for the most part, the talus cave hikes are a little cramped, so hike light and dont forget flashlights.

Sooooo many raccoons everywhere around the camping site.

Site was great, campsite was great. Try to get a campsite that's shaded.

Beautiful campground. Sites farther north have more shade. Lots of noise coming from the adjacent group sites, so more enforcement on quiet hours would have been nice. Otherwise, had a fantastic time.

Visiting Pinnacles NP in the fall, after a rain, but with comfortable temps... Awesome! Very nice campsites. Terrific hiking. Condor Gulch had condors! Saw 5 at once soaring above. Very nice park.

This is an excellence park! It's beautiful features and regular Condor sightings are phenomenal.

Visiting mid-week ensured no traffic back up into the park and the ability to park at the trailheads. The park offers beautiful hikes ranging from an easy stroll to rugged climbs. There is also a trail directly out of the campground. There is much to see: wildflowers (abundant this year), condors, caves, a reservoir and great vistas. Many of the campground sites afford shade, tree canopy and a stream. The only downside was that one of the restrooms was undergoing repairs. Porta potties were available or a longer walk to the next restroom. Also be aware that the food lockers will not accommodate large coolers.

We stayed at site #56 - nice campsite that was separate from the other campsites with a good mix of shade and sun. One thing to note- it was pretty far from both restrooms. During our visit the closer ones were closed and had porta-potties and the open ones (near tent cabins) were about 1/4 mile from the site.

What a wonderful park. The recent rains had everything all washed and fresh. The campground was clean, the staff very helpful and the hiking trails are well maintained.

The campsites are great with space and pretty spread out, camp hosts are awesome, the trails are short but sweet. The prices are prohibitive and some speed limit feels purposefully inadequate. Overall makes it one of the least inspiring NP.

Overall a good experience at Pinnacles campground. Bathrooms generally clean. Showers convenient, free, and heated (only 2 shower stalls on each side of the one bathroom that has them). One bathroom over by sites 122/123 didn't have lights so you needed a headlamp if using that bathroom at night. No bathrooms really close to group campsites 117, 118, and 119 so have to walk a bit from there. Can be a bit hard to find water taps at night if you haven't used them during the day, but there are many. Remember that some campsites only allow one car to park (some allow 2 and group sites allow like 5 cars per site). Shuttle from campground to Bear Gulch not running in late fall. Watch out for those racoons! Don't leave any food or anything that smells like food in your tent.

The tent loop is wonderful. Our site (56) was next to a small creek, with plenty of trees and shade. The food locker was big enough to hold all our food including coolers. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Fantastic experience.

We were here in February, midweek, so it was very quiet and peaceful. This is a large campground with many sites that are spread out from each other for good privacy. The campground is wooded and has a creek running through it. I stayed in site #56, which was very secluded and had lots of space for settling up tents and spreading out. There were red shouldered hawks in the trees one morning. We had to fight off raccoons who constantly tried to steal food from our table (with us right there!). Wonderful place.

We have been visiting Pinnacles for the last 45 years and alway enjoy our visits. This trip we encountered a were a few things which may be of concern to others. The restroom with showers was being remodeled so showers were not available and the water spigot near our campsite was shut off. Pinnacles has become very popular over the years and is showing the effects of overuse. Previously available roadside parking has been restricted, and the High Peaks trail has not been maintained. It is sad to see the great work done by the CCC fall into disrepair. Overall it's still a wonderful place to visit. I just hope the Park is able to keep up before all the visitors love it to death!

Beautiful campground with large sites that are mostly well maintained. Having a pool and EV charger (just in case- it wasn’t really needed) were an extra bonus.

Park itself is great with a variety of hiking options, both for more advanced hikers and for families.

It should be noted if you’re camping in Loop C there is no direct access to the Bench trail. You have to go all the way around to the group campsite.

Pinnacles is a phenomenal place to spend a couple of days taking easy short or strenuous long difficult hikes. Bring what you need because services are limited but that’s great because it keeps the crowds down. Try to come during the weekdays because the weekends are crowded lately.

We camped at Pinnacles the 13th and 14th of April. Spring is always a busy time at Pinnacles but this time it seemed extra busy, especially since it was midweek and not during spring break. This is likely due to children not being in school due to COVID 19. The number of people combined with very limited parking (it seems to be reduced every year) made it difficult to access the more popular trails. We have been visiting Pinnacles since the 1970's and it continuously gets more and more popular. Perhaps we're beginning to 'love it to death' like many of our parks? We still had a wonderful time it is just getting much more difficult to avoid the crowds.

Pinnacles was absolutely stunning. The campground was very well spaced out and the visitor center store had all the essentials we forgot. The park itself was very clean, and easy to navigate! We appreciated how secluded our site was (56C) and how clean it was as well. We also really appreciated how protected and preserved the wildlife was. When we went, most of the caves were closed but you could still explore some rock formations on the trails without going into the deep caves.
