It was a very clean and hospitable campground with respectful workers and campers. Pinnacles is a fantastic place for new National Park explorers or for anyone who wants an easy to weekend away with their family. The service desk was exceptional in helping myself and others map out their hikes to make the most of their stay. I truly enjoyed my stay and recommend others to seek out the unique land features that Pinnacles National Park has to offer.

One of our nation's under-celebration parks is a gorgeous one and well worth your visit.Fewer crowds, open spaces and rigorous - even strenuous hikes - make it an invigoratingand restful getaway. Hiking through caves provide even more thrill. But the great treat isone you can have in only two other places in the country: spotting a condor, the ten-foot wingedbird that nearly slipped into extinction until conservationists brought them back. You have to put in the steps in the ascent though to spot them! We loved camping by the creek (frogs sing you to sleep!) and will return as soon as we can.

Trails were great. General store on site was handy and staff were nice. Park ranger not so much. Ticketed $130 for a propane fire we were using to stay warm. Apparently would have been fine if we were cooking. A warning would have been nice.

The facilities and hiking trails were very accommodating. From the eastern entrance there was no sign for the entrance, we passed it but realized it shortly after passing.

well run campground. no shuttles to park in winter, due to staffing, and parking up there fills very early as it is very limited. 3 mile walk if no parking.....

This was an overall great experience. The campground was clean and quiet, especially during quiet hours. No unruly neighbors. There is a lot of wildlife in the campground. Every morning, I was greeted by numerous rabbits, blue jays, ravens, and an occasional raccoon. The raccoons are always looking for unlocked food, so be careful.
The restrooms were always clean.
I would definitely return back to this place. Normally, the biggest problems are the hot weather and the bold raccoons. I had great weather this time around and only had one issue with a raccoon due to me leaving a loaf of bread in plain view with my hatch still open. I turned my back for two minutes and it jumped in, grabbed the bread, and scurried off into the woods.
The restrooms were always clean.

Always a wonderful experience! The staff are all pretty friendly and open. My only concern was that in the store it didn't feel like there was any effort to promote mask wearing beyond a sign at the door that most people were disregarding. But, it just meant I didnt spend time shopping which isnt a bad thing. Otherwise, great as always!

#44 was convenient enough to go to the bathroom and go get some water. Quiet and spacious campground. Highly recommended.

Overall I had a fantastic experience. Every staff member onsite that I spoke to was courteous and super helpful. The grounds seem really nicely maintained, the facilities were spotless and the trails were in great shape. It's a shame the caves are closed, but it was still well-worth the trip regardless. 10/10 will definitely be back.
