Location and campsite was good, but access to the bathroom was difficult during the visit. The closest to our campsite was down all weekend, the second closest has no light on the women side, so every trip needed a short drive to the main showers near the camp store. It was clean enough, but FAR.

Always nice. Campground is well laid out. Trails well maintained. Get up high by 10am to catch the condors looking for thermals.

Site 101, very accommodating for our 35 5th wheel. Electric only. No generators allowed. We did not realize this when making reservations for 4 days. Great hiking trails and shuttle system, (only on weekends though). Had to wait 50 minutes for shuttle. Our second party had to move every night to keep electricity. Very inconvenient.

Nice but very hot, wish we had known the pool was closing so soon. We saw a lot of wildlife (turkeys, deer, bunnies, ground squirrel, rattle snake, raccoons, quail, many birds). Showers were good. Stars were great.

Had a great experience at Pinnacles. The real highlight was being able to go to the trailheads before and after the crowds were there for the day. The camp and restrooms were clean and comfortable. I hope to be back.

The weather was wet, but the views when we hiked up to the caves were beautiful. The wildlife was plentiful for us to watch, even when it was raining, so we enjoyed our visit very much.

The campground was very big. We had a good site tucked in the back that had some trees by it. Some of the sites were full sun no trees around. It was nice that the campground had a pool but it was VERY crowded on a Saturday and the water was kind of dirty with lots of things floating in it. It was nice they had showers, however there was only 2 showers for females and 2 for the males so the line to shower was quite long every night. They had bathrooms and water spigots throughout the campground which was nice and the bathrooms next to our campsite were clean. It was a bummer you couldnt have any fires the whole time we were there. No cell coverage for Verizon at all. Overall it wasnt bad Id recommend getting a shaded spot.

During our April visit, the park was absolutely beautiful with wildflowers in bloom. The west side cave hike was also fun and interesting. To avoid parking issues, try visiting the park on weekdays.

We camped there for two weeknights in early and cold January at an RV site with electrical hook-up. The gravel/sandy site was level (within 2 degrees of level) but a bit muddy due to recent rain. Bathroom was fairly clean but could have a little bit cleaner. We did not use the shower. Bathroom was also quite a distance from the campsite. The concessionaire people were helpful when needed. The park ranger was helpful too with information about the national park and trails. Kudos to the shuttle system and drivers. They did a good job ferrying us back and forth between the campground and the many very cool trails. Overall, this national park is a hidden gem with excellent opps for hiking in unique terrains and viewpoints, and only about 90 minutes from San Jose.

This is a beautiful place. The campground is delightful, the tent cabins a big plus for some people, the restrooms well-cared for. Our only irritation was the large family of raccoons that kept trying to steal food (quite brazen) but once you adapt your food handling, you all just get along! Pinnacles is a beautiful place to be and to hike, with some dramatic and beautiful formations and vistas.

Very nice and clean campground. Make sure to hand everything stored away, there was 1-2 pieces of loose dog food in one of our bags and raccoons got on our car. I would 100% recommend staying here!

Bathrooms in our ring were being remodeled which meant porta potties instead of flush toilets for our camping trip. The showers have already been updated which was nice and there was no cost for them at this time. The campground is overall well maintained and staff are friendly.

The campsite was completely exposed and right by the dumpster and the port-a-potty. I would never camp there again.

Wonderful campground, very well run, in such a beautiful place. The kids, wife and I had a great time!

Lots of wild life in the park! Deer, Quail, turkeys, Turkey vultures, wood peckers and, of course, condors. Campsites were reasonably apart. Remodeled showers at camp store.

Have been here multiple times and it's such an amazing park. Campground staff were friendly and helpful. They now also deliver firewood to your campsite, which is nice, however just know that you won't get any kindle or starter, so bring your own to get going a little quicker. Facilities were clean and everyone was respectful of wearing masks when in common areas. We even had condors fly over our campsite in the morning! Saw tons of other wildlife - rabbits, squirrels, deer turkeys, quail. Our campsite was also very open and nicely distanced from the others around us.

Loved the area, seeing condors soaring over the ridge above our site was spectacular! Dumping was easy, getting fresh potable water was harder! We were forced to drive into an adjoining loop and hook up at an unused site. Showers and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Great area for star gazing!

Lot #29 has no shade all day except a few hours in the early morning. The lot has red ant hill. Flushing toilet are a plus. And lots of animals to be seen. We saw condors, deer, raccoons, woodpeckers, rabbits, and of course quails. Keep watch on use of fire ring. 2 out of 3 nights, we could not cook hot meals - just bring a hibachi grill and briskets because they are allowed even on windy no fire days. The signs to the hiking trailhead are confusing. Use the access road that is closed currently to cars if you are not good at navigating or short on time. I wish the park would place ribbons to show how to get to the pass to the trailhead since we are not allowed to drive up. Basically, you follow the far right road from Visitor Center inside campground, passed R.V. lots and group lots. Quarter showers are open all night. We had enough cell reception during our stay. I feel stupid buying $10 WiFi from Visitor Center which was not reliable and only works around the building. Try your cell reception at your lot before buying into their $10 WiFi. FYI, we have T-Mobile.Have fun!

If you want to camp at Pinnacles, you don't really have much choice ;-). That said, this is overall a good campground, and we had a very pleasant stay. We tent-camped and can only comment on tent facilities, not RVs. It's at the "semi-luxury" end of camping, with sites all set along paved (but narrow) roads (pitch right by your car), and plenty of amenities (regular fire pits & grills; restrooms had flushing toilets, TP, soap and water). The camp shop was well stocked and staff were friendly. The sites all being close to roads is a bit of a downside for me; for a lot of sites, you'll get traffic coming past at all hours, and many sites are quite open, with nowhere to hide from other campers or the sun. The end loop for sites #58-83 seemed like the best option for tents if you want seclusion and shade. There were more trees around there, and I think some sites you'd just about be able to hang a hammock if wanted. It was easy to walk right from the campground to the major trails around the National Park proper, and it is a great little Park to hike in. We saw deer, plenty of birds, and some tarantulas (very cool!) on our hike.
