We stayed in campsite 19 (tent camping) for one night at Pinnacles National Park in late February. Pros for this site: It's secluded and spacious and relatively flat. Cons: Not very close to a water supply nor the restroom. If you're the type that needs to get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities, this may not be the site for you. But it you like being alone with no other campers in site, this was great! The campsite provides free hot showers with soap/shampoo/condition. No towels provided. The park was wonderful this time of year. Not crowed at all and the hikes to AND THROUGH the caves (2) were the highlight. We looked for Condors amongst the Turkey Vultures, but don't think we saw any... maybe, but not positive. Overall, the two days/one night was plenty for us. It did get down in the low 40s at night. The days time times was 70+. Perfect weather!

Nice quiet site at the edge of campground. Visited by deer, turkeys, woodpeckers, but keep watch for raccoons at night!

We had site 19A, partly shaded and secluded. Great spot!Amenities clean.

Loved the site (#19). At the end of the road with no close neighbors. Facilities were fine, but nothing fancy.

We stayed on Campground #19 and it was amazing! The spot was a little secluded from the rest of the sites and felt very private. It's a short drive (or 1.5 miles extra hike) to get to the trail heads in the park, so it was very convenient. So much wild life around us and a beautiful park made for a great time. Highly recommend! One piece of advice: the firewood is pretty expensive from the campground store, so I recommend purchasing ahead of time (at a nearby store to obey burning laws)

I loved my time here! I loved my campsite, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also loved the trails at the park. I had a great time! I'm impressed to see that the park has upgraded since becoming a national park versus a national preserve. Thanks for everything!

I enjoyed my time at the campground. The campground is, for the most part, well-maintained. A corporation operates the campgrounds, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The volunteer who runs the NPS bookstore was knowledgeable. and friendly The trails are well maintained. My only complaint is that it should be a Rule that no children under 15 after September 1st should be in the campground. If I want to hear crying babies, I see my grandkids. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This particular site is very secluded and far from other sites due to some site closures. For this reason, it was very quiet and peaceful. A bit further from the bathrooms, but worth it for the solitude.

Parking at the trailheads is limited and shuttle buses only run on certain days, so plan to start your day early. Currently showers are closed for renovation so plan accordingly.

Older, somewhat run down campground.

You should be aware that August is a very hot month and that it is very dry. However the campground is very well kept and served us very well for our base for night photography.

We had a great campsite, with plenty of shade. If you are going in the summer, make sure you select a campsite with shade because the sun is brutal and it doesn't cool off until after 8 pm. It is a lovely place, though, with lots of animal life and mostly tent campers so very peaceful. The night sky is brilliant too and the hikes were interesting and varied. It has a small pool, which looked like a Covid hotspot with tons of unmasked users clumped together in a small space.

The only problem is the toilets don't seem to have enough pressure to flush properly. Otherwise, our trip was excellent.

My friend used the shower (only one) that needsots of improvements if you are.planning to take a shower.
I loved the park so much that I can't wait until I am able to make my reservations for next year.
Love the rocks and the few flowers due to lack of precipitation this year.
The cliffs and surrounding area were my favorite. Also I got to see many condors nearby, and especially condor 92 resting on a rock less than 9 ft. above the trail.
I am an avid hiker who enjoyed all the trails .

Wonderful to be at Pinnacles as usual. RV camping and social distancing does NOT spread the virus. Hiking is healthy both physically and mentally. Met lots of great people there with the same mindset and we all kept safe.
