Too little time to see everything. Plan multiple days.

Beautiful place, clean campgrounds, really friendly people at both the camp store and the gift shop. And seeing condors in the wild! I will definitely come back!

Good campground lots of spaces. A variety of different ways to camp hut, RV, tent. This is one of the few campgrounds that has hot showers which is nice. People are fairly quiet and respectful.

Loved this loop of the campground. Close enough to everything but felt isolated. Good sunshine here so we appreciated that in March, might be warm in summer.

We enjoyed our stay in the Pinnacles campground. The facility is obviously being upgraded as the rest room near our camp was new. Workers were installing a new RV dump station which made the showers unavailable during our stay there.

Well maintained campground for RVs - provide mostly electricity but convenient water supply available shared in between sites.Dump station is useful, store has all you need in case you forgot to pack with you. Friendly hosts in the office. Good location and the park entrance.

Super super clean bathrooms. Large, shady tent site. Clean swimming pool. I just wish the pool had a shady corner.

Great hike up to chalone peak and up high peaks trail to balconies and back to bear gulch. Saw lots of condors and the caves were fun climbing through. Great time for wild flowers

The park gets a 5+ star rating. Great hiking and well worth even a 1 star campsite! Campsite 9 has no privacy, but it is what it is when you can only find that site open for use. The campsite was relatively flat. One corner seem to have squirrel holes as well as under the food storage... lots of squires here and at night watch out for the Racoons. Put all food and anything that smells away in car or provided metal box. We did not have any issues this trip, but I could hear the pans and few dogs in other camps having to deal with them. Again, anything that smells, put it away and NOT in your tent or near where you sleep.Rating based on how close these non private campsites are located, the fact that the restrooms were shut down. Would have given 4 stars. I would stay here again and if I had to, again at site 9. The bathrooms were down for remodeling. They had Porta Potties with a handwash station that only had towels on one side and seem to run out of water by night. Remodel of restrooms seem to be going very slow.

Campsite and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Didnt need a rock or hammer to place tent stakes. Forecasted low was 40F but actual campground seemed to be 5-10F colder in the early morning.

Beautiful park with many wonderful trail options for various abilities. Pleasant campgrounds with some sites larger and more secluded than others.
Water and restrooms conveniently located throughout.
Trailhead parking lots are very small and the shuttle bus was not running during our stay in the park.

Campground was pretty nice! Easy to find our spot and the camp hosts/store clerks were helpful and patient. Fire wood was available for purchase, but pricey. Restrooms were clean and well-kept. Hiking was nice, but there are few trails that are available directly from the campsite. It's about a 2 mile hike to the nearest trail junction, so plan accordingly. It is possible to drive to the trails, but parking is limited.

Solid 8.5/10, will definitely go again.

For the price, the campground was not up to our expectations ($75 for two nights). Deserves 4-5 stars based purely on beauty, but felt like we got ripped off at the convenience store (new WiFi fee, site change fee even though we were there midweek and there were plenty of open sites, and crazy hiked prizes for food to be expected). Staff was overall friendly until the last day we were packing up right at check out time and they drove by and threatened to charge us for an additional night (!!!) for being 10 min late to check out.

Great park with a nice campground. Was a bit of a bummer that the road didn't extend farther into the park (due to COVID, presumably?) but it wasn't a problem. It was frustrating that the payphone did not accept quarters in a park with no cell coverage, but having roomy tent campsites away from the RVs and showers made up for it.

Nice clean campground, we were disappointed that we were told that we weren't allowed to have a fire but many people around us still did. Also during the visit, one morning one of our car's tires was super low and your friendly workers helped us fix it and get back on our way
