The biggest complaint about the campground has been fixed. They converted a large trailer in to additional bathrooms. It even felt a little luxurious because there is no time limit and showers are free. There weren't lines for showers either. Our site 45 was both good and bad. It is large and had room for atleast two more cars after we parked our 20ft trailer and truck. For some reason neighbor glamping hut's bear locker was in our site. Also the shared water faucet next to our site is such that people had to walk through our site to get to it. Some weird layout there that is mildly annoying.April is a great time to visit Pinnacles. It was already getting a little too hot in the afternoons. I wouldn't visit in the summer. Parking lots at trail heads are annoyingly small. If you are able just hike the Bench trail from the campground. It is actually quite scenic and has a different vibe (greener with creek running along) than the rest of the park (much more dry)

It's great to have a way to visit and stay over at this wonderful park. The camp ground has the unfortunate combination of being simultaneously excessively busy with many small sites while also being at 100% capacity. This is not the fault of NPS, more a reflection of the popularity of the site. Hopefully there is a plan to add more and larger camp sites to the inventory. Thank you for doing what you can with what you have NPS.

Watch out for the Ranger /Cop that gives out tickets for everything. He is fat!!!

Possibly the most underrated National Park Ive visited. The only note I have is that the campground is just a series of dead loops and you have to walk all the way to the entrance in order to then backtrack onto the trail into the park. If they added a walkway from the southernmost campsites to the Bench Trail with signage, it would help greatly!

This campground needs a lot of work. Lots of trash thrown in the creek behind our campsite. Many campsites are just barren plots with no shade, no privacy, no nice place to pitch a tent. Of the more than 100 sites, I'd say only a small handful are pretty nice. The bathrooms in loop B were pretty clean.

The campground was beautifully kept. There were bunnies and all kinds of wildlife around! They were adorable to watch playing with each other. The facilities were clean and all the staff I spoke to were so friendly!

Enjoyed our trip!! Wild flowers, turkey vultures, rabbits galore.

Campground and camp store are both excellent. The trails are in great shape and make for interesting hiking. The only reason for a lower rating is that there are only two showers for the entire campground. And the women's showers only had one working the entire time (4 days) that we were there. Otherwise, it's a great camping experience

Pinnacles has some of the best hiking in California. The camp ground is just so-so. The number of RV spots with electical hook up is very small. For some reason, they have prohibited generators in all of the other sites. I was told I could book up the trailer, exit the park, get out the generator and recharge the battery. I realize that campers and most RV sites overlap. Park still worth it for the great hikes, especially the crest trails.

Pinacles National Park is a wonderful surprise. There are a variety of hiking trails, from easy to difficult.

Not crowded at all, campsite had large flat areas for many tents. The staff actually brought the firewood we bought directly to our site like it was room service. Would highly recommend.
