Great location with access to hiking trails. The site was a good size with electric, picnic table and fire pit. Rest rooms and showers were unfortunately dark, damp and cold. The woman at the National Park store was fabulous. She was helpful and informative.

This is a wonderful campground! So peaceful and beautiful! We were in site 104 and had wifi. Not all sites do.

Beautiful park. Facilities for campers are inadequate

One of the nicest campgrounds Ive ever stayed at if youre not looking for remote. The free 24 hour showers were awesome as well as a pool you can use during the day. The staff was very friendly.

This is our third year in a row RV camping and hiking with friends at Pinnacles. The sites are always clean and well maintained, and the hikes are spectacular. This year, we knew before we went that the shuttle bus would not be running. One of the members of our party who was not going to hike drove the rest of us up to the trail head, dropped us off, and then parked back at our campsite. We set a time for her to pick us up again since we knew we would not have cell service. When it was time for her to come pick us up, the ranger who was managing the traffic told her that she could not pick us up, and that we would have to walk back. There was no way for her to communicate that to us since there is no cell service at the trailhead. She reiterated that she was not going to park, but just drive up, pick us up and come back. In the end he let her go up to pick us up, but only after being very belligerent and unprofessional. Very disappointing. This ranger should not have a public-facing role.A big shout out to the woman who works at the book store. She is always super helpful.

Site104 is fine if you need electricity. The oak tree just behind this site was full of acorns and many birds. In some older reviews, people said water spigots were a distance from this site, but things have been upgraded and there are spigots at almost every other camp site. Showers have also been upgraded and bathrooms were clean. It is a short hike to a restroom if you need to use one, but all have running water. However if you don't need electricity, there are many nicer campsites. But be sure to check the length of the site and that your rig will fit. Beautiful hikes and scenery, great wildlife, and a nice quiet campground. I would stay in Pinnacles again!

Excellent experience. Campground was excellent. The hiking trails were magnificent, very well maintained, and such incredible views!!

The campground was clean and campers were respectful. Kids were having fun on bicycles. A gentle (level) hiking trail starts right at the campground. The bathroom was acceptable but could use an upgrade. There are two showers on the men's side, and there's no charge for them. The 30-amp circuit at our site worked well.
The weather was ideal on the 25th and 26th of June. It's now one week later, and I expect it's pretty warm there.
I will be back.

The RV site was excellent, lots of shade and 30a electrical hookups. Pool was in great shape and everyone was super friendly at the park. Can’t wait to come back when the caves are open

First time camping at Pinnacles and it was a good experience. Will be returning. The weather was perfect and not too hot for Memorial Day. The RV site was nice and level. Would be nice to get water at each site though.

Campground was noisy and the store was expensive. But the hikes were awesome!

No toilet anywhere nearby. This was the RV electric area. Not everyone camping there has a toilet.

Great hiking

Great campground with good amenities. It can be hard to find a good campground with Electric hookups and a dump station etc.. in a National park making this location a gem. The campground was very quiet even on a Saturday night. There is a store in the campground which is also convenient. The showers were out of order which would have been nice, but we’re under repairs to be reopened. The trails are amazing leading up through the caves and to the reservoir. Will return!

Nice campground definitely need more camping site with electric. All electric sites full. 10% of non electric sites taken and half of those campers desired to have electric site.

Need to patrol the noise after dark by a few campers with large camp fires. Said they were trying to stay warm. I guess noise helps!!

The roadway through the RV campground was not clearly marked. Approximately 80% of the RVs enter through the wrong direction. They were stuck and had to figure out how to turn around.

Great location; lousy service. -- Wast dump available only from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.! And when I went to leave on a Monday they said the waste tank was full and I could not dump at all! -- And the showers were closed for renovation, which was not disclosed when I made my reservation. -- And all the visitor centers were closed! -- Location is great; service was lousy.

A great place for hiking. Different levels of difficulty. Mostly set up for tent camping. There are about 20 RV sites with 30 amp power. There is a dump station and water spigots.
The camping rates are very reasonable but be aware that there is a park entrance fee that is around $30 in addition to any overnight camping fee. Not an issue if you have a National Park pass. If you have a Senior Pass be sure to use it for 50% of camping rates.
No over the air internet, however you can subscribe to internet service at very reasonable rates. The subscription internet was good.

The hikes we took were beautiful and a really unique experience crawling through the caves. We drove to a parking lot near the trailhead, but could have walked from the campground if we were up for a longer hike. The campsites were spacious and spread out from each other. It was great that each site in the RV loop had electricity (but no sewer or water hook up). A dump station was available near the store. We saw wild turkeys and lots of ground squirrels, quail, and other birds. One day we saw a bald eagle! Every evening the California Condors could be seen soaring around and then landing in trees to roost for the night.
