Great way to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day. This trip we hiked the South Wilderness Trail - great time!

Lots of ants and raccoons. Campsite was a great location none the less. Wouldnt camp here again but would love to visit in the future.

Very good rangers in this park. Looks of places to see good birding/ bats as well. I liked hiking the east side of the park.

My boyfriend and I camped at site 18 in February. It was an amazing experience. The site is huge, could easily fit 2-3 tents. It has shrubs surrounding the site providing more privacy than some of the other sites. Its a short walk to the restrooms which have flushing toilets and all very clean! (The restrooms at the visitor site not so much). The site is between a creek and a hillside. There is a TON of wildlife. From our site alone we were feet away from groups of deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, and quail. Be sure to store food away properly. The visitor center is small and is also a market with snacks and some camping gear. It has great showers, free with hot water. The star gazing is amazing. I would highly recommend the site and the park!

Fantastic landscape. I **LOVE** the High Peak loop: It's "out of this world". Best of all, Pinnacles NP is very accessible to Bay Area residents.

Just a nice experience! Had a tent spot that was secluded, yet close to everything. Peace and quiet, nice staff. Very clean bathrooms.Didnt feel as busy as it was.

Nicely kept campground, only complaint would be lack of Wi-Fi.

We spent 5 nights at Pinnacles NP. It's a terrific park with great hiking through talus caves and unique rock formations. There is also great bicycling in the park and the surrounding area. The campground was peaceful and quiet (we had site #18) and the night sky was fabulous for star-gazing. All is all, a great place to visit and a true diamond in the rough. The only downside was the shower area was closed due to maintenance and the bathrooms are a bit dated (but in the process of being renovated). Highly recommend the campground AND the park.

Great campground! Loved campsite 18. Secluded, but still close to the entrance and restrooms. Plus saw condors every morning directly across the street. Really enjoyed my time at Pinnacles.

We were lucky, it wasn't too hot when we were there. I appreciated the warning signs for heat exhaustion & stroke.
The site was spacious and ours quite secluded, which we like. The bathroom was alright, though the light didn't work well there, having a flashlight or headlight proved to be useful.
It was a great experience for our family.

There was a gang of raccoon surrounding our campsite at dinner time. Quite annoying.

A great park to enjoy the nature. We enjoyed many wild animals and plants, in addition to the unique geographical formations. Our campsite was hot, and there was no way to set up the tent to avoid the beaming afternoon sun. Also, it was full of ants, mosquitoes, flies, and bees. Campfire kept the latter three away. Despite, we admired rabbits, various birds, raccoons, deer, quails, and other wildlife at the campsite. Stayed in June.

This was my first time camping at Pinnacles - amazing! I highly recommend the High Peaks Trail to see truly magnificent condors and breathtaking views, and the Moses Spring Trail to Bear Gulch Reservoir for a more peaceful/less strenuous hike that leads to a beautiful reservoir.

The only word of caution I have is that raccoons run through the campsite at 9pm sharp every night (in late May, this time likely changes depending on the sunset) - please, please make sure you've eaten and packed up ALL your food before then! They are not afraid of humans/loud noises.

We had a really nice campsite, bathrooms were very clean, staff were fun and friendly. Plenty of wildlife!
