Well kept campground, nice private spaces for each camper.

We had a great time at Pinnacles campground! The individual campsites are pretty spacious, and visibility from the other campsites is blocked somewhat by trees and brush. Water spigots and port-o-potties are nearby for convenience. The shower trailer was not glamorous, but it was serviceable. We did encounter mosquitos and some racoons sniffing around in the nighttime (despite putting all items, including lip balm, locked in the car) but overall, they were harmless. Check-in and check-out were very easy and painless. This was a great experience, and we will likely be back for more camping! We love the national parks!

Recommend staying on far side of campground for better spaced spots and beautiful views among the trees. Not sure how often the frogs are active but bring ear plugs just in case haha.

It's a nice private site with a "shortcut" to the bathrooms. Short drive/pull-in so only small trailers will fit. Some marshland behind the campsite so I don't know if bugs would be a problem. It was too cold for bugs when we were there in January. It was a holiday weekend and the shuttle to Bear Gulch would sometimes be an hour wait so plan and get in line early!

We booked camp sites 73 and 74, thinking they were next to each other. They were adjacent but there was a creek/swampy separating them, which meant our kids had to walk back and forth on the road. Site 74 is also on route to the porto potties so other campers walked through our campsite. Camp site 73 was greatprivate, catches morning sunwould recommend.

I got really lucky with a last minute. Swipe campsite 73 has just enough tree cover right next to a water spigot and you have a little stream right behind you

This park and campground surpassed my expectations. From the deer, coyote, bunny, and condor sightings to the stunning hikes through caverns to our nightly campfires in our comfortable campsite, we definitely made some family memories during our stay at Pinnacles! The firewood you buy at the camp store is delivered straight to your site while you hike. Talk about awesome service! And it is way closer to The Bay Area than I thought. Under two hours from San Mateo. We’ll be back soon!

Very hot in mid August. Bear Gulch Caves are a must see! We’re lucky there was a pool after our hike due to how hot it was. WiFi is not included, and we’re grateful we brought shower shoes, but overall we’re happy and had a great experience!

Would never camp here again for lack of support staff.
