The campsite was great. My only complaint is that the trail head to most popular hikes is three miles away and the shuttles are small any only come every 30 mins. When it was busy I would have had to wait up to an hour and a half since the lots were full or add an additional 6 miles to my hike.

Beautiful place. Come on the weekend so you can use the shuttle.

nice clean bathrooms and showers. Nice store. We saw condors through the telescopes in the park!

Too few restrooms for the amount of people who were staying at the park. The Pinnacles is spectacular but there needs to be an upgrade in facilities available.

Disappointed that the "easy" trails were on the west side and the campground was on the east side.

Quiet, with sites not too crowded. Unfortunately our new motor home (and another of the same exact model) could not pull electricity from the posts at the sites (it would shut off in 10-30 sec.).
We WILL return here for relaxation - NOT for excitement! Nice to see Condors!!

The electric hookup sites were very close to one another.
The hiking was great. Very odd and upsetting that you had to wait until 9:30 when the store was open and get a key to the dump station.
We've been all over the country and never ran into that. It delayed our departure and really messed up our day.

Great park, well maintained. Good staff. No cell service but paid wifi in camp works fairly well. Shuttle busses from hiking areas to camp or a fairly flat 3 mile trail. All in all great experience.

This was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. A beautiful campground and probably the best time of the year to visit. Exploring The old homestead was my favorite. Saw a coyote twice but the raccoons kept me up the first night.

These are terrible campung sites. They are merely parking lots. There is nothing redeeming about these sites. Plus, the park is overrun with hikers so there is no parking.

Great park. Was so happy it would accomodate our 40' 5th wheel. We had kids with us and we did 3 hikes - it was great. And even through it was chilly they were in the pool! We will be back for sure.

This was our second visit and it was just as great as our first trip. We love the hikes through the caves and the stars at night are epic!

A great destination campground. Interesting hikes. Watch out for poison oak!

Nice campground. Friendly host.
Full hookup was really a pleasure especially in such a remote area.
Price recently was raised which made it a little bit pricey, but that’s the new normal.

The dump station was closed, and the women’s showers were almost unusable. We got the overall impression the place was falling apart and nobody was taking care of the problems.

I camp in a Westfalen and reserved an electric spot. I didn’t have a converter to use the electricity, only had a three-pronged extension cord. The RV area has very little privacy and small sites very close to each other. I recommend trying to book one on the outside edges. The public bathrooms are quite a walk away from the RV area and apparently the bathrooms in the tent site area are much nicer. No hot water in sink but they did have one functioning shower.
It was warm during the day (early March) but very cold at night.
I’ve been coming to Pinnacles for many years and it’s now much more popular than it was before. Lots of people on the trails. Not much opportunity for silent connection with nature. Oh well. Things change.

This was a convenient campground to the entrance and also to drive down to the few trailheads available on the eastern side of the park. Amenities were fine, very close spots with not much privacy in-between, which may be a problem if you are tent camping but we were fine with it in an RV. No water hookups, not a big deal in my opinion either for the affordable site, especially for just a few days. Pinnacles had a few of my favorite hikes I've EVER done and I absolutely recommend it!
