We loved camping here and plan to go back. We have a travel trailer, so stayed in the electric hook up sites. We were able to keep warm during a winter camping trip. Great hiking and wildlife viewing.

Easy to locate site, clean campground, cell service was great. Store was well stocked and nice employees. Quiet nights. Will stay again.

The ADA toilet trailer was out of order (both stalls). The site did have an ADA portapotty (one) near the bathroom buildings, but the way they were dropped was in the dirt/sand (difficult for wheelchairs to traverse. This portapotty was not lit at night like the bathrooms, and they were placed in the dirt in such a way that opening the door fully was a challenge because it jutted up against the parking barrier.

Really nice campground in a great location to the hikes. Its important to realize that the RV spots do not have water hookups, so be sure to fill up your tanks when you arrive before parking.

Peaceful campground with all necessary amenities and ease of use. Enjoyable evening watching hawks and listening to wild turkeys. Loved the quiet of nature and early jump to the trails. Did Pinnacles Greatest Hits Hike and Chalone Peak. One of my favorite camping adventures!

Overall, a great experience despite the non-functional 240 electricity port on the RV hookup pedestal. site #84 and one adjacent to it did not have power to their RV's. Park staff were very helpful in testing but ultimately attributed the malfunction to the RV (which is brand new). Not! The next night I was in a KOA and the hookup was just fine. So, there's definitely something wrong with the RV electricity in some of the hookups. Fortunately, I was able to use the 110 to power my medical equipment. But what an inconvenience!

The weekend we choose to go was a free entry weekend for the National Parks and it was packed. The trailhead parking lots were full by 8 AM. everyone else had to park near the store and walk to the nearest trailhead which was about a 1.5 mile walk. The RV sites were large and easy to get into. Didn't use the camp showers or restrooms. The camping sites were 90% full. I stayed in site #83 which had no shade until the evening. The site west of us did not have shade until the evening either. The park is small and not much to do other than hiking. The hikes are scenery are worth the visit. I would recommend arriving from the north through Hollister.

Where to begin.... More than 150 people and 3 working showers. A brand new trailer of 3 showers locked. The main camping loop has zero bathrooms. 1 bathroom in an alternate loop and one by the camp store. Grossly under equipped. No Park personnel on site after 4:00 pm. Concessionaire just getting free camping.no support, facilities run down and dirty. As a National park it is a disgrace. No educational programs, no National Park Service presence. All in all, very disappointing.

Be prepared to be disconnected from the world in a good way. Wildlife viewing in the campground does not disappoint multiple species of birds and deer. Also, invest in a better-than-average pair of binoculars.

Very helpful staff; friendly greeting at entrance and exit. Clean restrooms. Neat campsite with no litter. The staff was good at pointing out some hiking issues, such as creeks that would need to be crossed while they were quite full (in January). People in other campsites were very quiet.

One of our favorite campgrounds in California. And the state doesn't own it so it's still a good deal.

Unfortunately there were no showers. We received an email prior to arrival letting us know the showers were not available in Loop C and to use another but there were no showers on site. Also no communication whatsoever about the nature center being closed after waiting in long traffic delays no signage whatsoever about the nature center. Signs for a shuttle up to their but no shuttle

Excellent campsite in Rv area but only nearby bathroom was at swimming pool. Free showers with bath gel, shampoo and conditioner provided.Problems with power pole and surge protector so eventually had to defer using protector in order to power AC. Lots of infrastructure improvements underway. Mandatory shuttle on weekends was very helpful. Wildlife Center unfortunately closed and insufficient rangers for educational endeavors like Ranger Walks or evening talks in amphitheater. Definitely take time to see West Pinnacles if possible!

The RV sites were spaced nicely and acquitted well with a fire pit and picnic tale. There is a lot to explore that is interesting. The WiFi is expensive and unreliable.

Office staff very friendly and helpful. Clean, well managed campground. I was very impressed that the two showers in the men's restroom/shower facility had three types of showering soaps (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). One thing to add would be a simple wood bench to the shower dressing area since there were none to use. We will come back to Pinnacles; more there than we thought! Keep up the good work.

The facilities are excellent. They include a well stocked camp store, park store, clean bathrooms and warm showers, electric access to water and a dump station. The swimming pool is great fun in the summer. The best part is the hiking available in the park. A lot of trails that are just beautiful and tranquil.

The people who ran the campground were very nice and helpful. Complaints: we had to wait until 9:30 to empty our tanks before leaving. Whats the purpose of handling out key for each person and then locking it. This requires the next person in line to get, etc. also there is still no bathroom facilities for handicapped.

This campground is very remote, so there are no local amenities. We drove from Bakersfield and once you get to Hwy 25, the road has a lot of 25-40 MPH turns, so it may take you longer than you expect. Plus we had very high winds. But once you get here, the park is nice. The campground is in a valley so most of the sites looked pretty level, at least ours was. There is a Visitor Center and camp store, but the camp store doesnt open until 9:30. If you are going to use the dump station, you have to go into the camp store to get a key, which is kind of weird. And you have to estimate how many gallons youll be dumping. The dump station did not have a potable water fill, but there are water spigot in the camping areas. There is no cell service in the park, but Wi-Fi is available for at the camp store for $3/hour, $7/day, or $10/week per device. Wi-Fi was okay, but we were close to the camp store. We would camp here again. We camped at Pinnacles Campground in a Motorhome.
