We loved our visit to Pinnacles. The campsite was great, and the strolling turkeys were a lot of fun. The folks at the camp store were all nice, and there were some good hikes off the campground. The showers were clean and there was plenty of hot water. The only downside is that a lot of the campsites have pretty sloped parking. We stay in a van, so we had to use our leveling blocks. But hey...that's why we carry them!

We were two couples with 19 trailers camped in adjacent campsites. We had a great time in the campground and on our hike to the summit.

This was one of the best public campgrounds I have been to in California! These spots were perfect, the pool was nice and the hiking beautiful. Thanks,Ann

We actually loved our camping trip, but only gave 3 stars because of the site we camped in. We have a 13' Scamp and don't take up much room, but the actual parking area would not have accommodated our trailer and car. We moved some RR ties in order to be able to back the trailer into the site, we then parked the car next to it. On the day we left we were told we shouldn't have parked that way. The other negative is that we were across from the group sites and it was pretty noisy, not the quiet nature experience we anticipated. We really enjoyed the hikes we took and the campgrounds were pretty and mostly private with all the the foilage. We will definately go again but now we know what sites to camp in and which ones to avoid.

Do not trust Recreation.gov to provide a realistic description of the campsites. The site that I reserved after much research was impossible to back into with a trailer. The road in the campground is very narrow and the campsite required a 90 turn off of that road. Ended up forfeiting my 4 night reservation.

The staff was very helpful. Our original sites did not work for our party. CG Host immediately located us in Group 18 which was excellent although the racoons were very aggressive.Overall the CG was clean and pleasant.

And we saw a condor on the High Peaks Trail.

Facilities were dated, weeds and dead brush everywhere, dump station was out of order.
Very little to do in the park. Parking at trailheads was very limited.

Great Park, not the best campsite (very small, just next to the road), there are way better options.

Everyone at the campground was kind and helpful. There were great, accessible trails close by. All around, a wonderful experience.

Amazing trails. Jen was extremely helpful and kind. Stopped by several times to say hi and make small talk. Appreciate the extremely clean bathrooms during Covid times. A hidden gem. I do wish the NPS would reconsider the no dogs on trails rule. At least open certain trails to our loving companions.

Great campground. Sites are nice and there is the store and ranger station right at the entrance. The views and hiking trails at the national park are incredible! Start hikes earlier in the morning and bring lots of water as they get a little warm in the afternoon. Seeing the CA Condors in flight as you are hiking is AMAZING!

The Pinnacles campground was very nice, birds everywhere, clearly marked, and lots of trees.
